Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Contigo AUTOSEAL West Loop Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug is a wonderful product. The durability of the mug is excellent. Of course, it is extremely portable. The best feature for me is it has incredible temperature retention and holds the same exact temperature of your drink even after several hours in extremely cold weather. It has super leak proofing material as well. Last but certainly not least, this mug is very easy to clean and dry prior to the next time you use it. All in all, it's a fantastic mug that would be a really nice addition to anyone's travel essentials.

I mostly carry water with me, but I’ve recently gotten into drinking tea, and I like that this mug works for either beverage. The tea bag hook is such a terrific feature and makes it easy for me to carry my tea on the go. I also like the unique locking feature on this travel mug. When it’s in lock mode, you push the button on the side to open the drinking slot, so I’ve found this mug to be completely spill-proof. The design on the outside of the mug is also beautiful and looks like crushed crystal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why mess with perfection? West loop is my favorite water bottle of any brand by far. Love one handed operation with no annoying pop up top. I own many. But WHY oh WHY did you have to change that perfect top!?!?!?! The new lid is hard to pop open to clean and water collects in there only to drip out later when drinking.. Are there really that many people who leave their tea bag hanging in the cup?? The lip you drink from is also steeper so now those few little drops collect in there and drip out. I'm holding on to my old models for dear life!! (Thanks for making the new and old lids non-interchangeable. ☹️)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works really well, but I wish there were better co [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lid comes with a button you press to open and drink, but this button also has a lock so there’s no risk of it spilling if you knock it over. The outside has a lightly textured material so it’s comfortable to hold and not slippery like a lot of other thermoses. I haven’t tried it for hot drinks yet, but it keeps my cold drinks cool for a long time. It’s a little tricky to clean all the holes and crevices in the lid, but a small bottle or straw brush worked well enough. It’s also not my favorite color, but I’ll probably add some cute stickers to it or something. I wish it came in more modern, fun color options.

It keeps my drink cold for a long time (and hopefully hot but I haven’t tried with a hot drink yet) and I like that it has a spot to hang a teabag for next fall and winter when I want a warm drink! The lid popping apart for easy cleaning is amazing and helps with my fear of not getting my travel cups clean enough! I wish more cups were this way! And the sealing lid is also a plus as I can be clumsy, it prevents any unwanted spills! I recommend this- it has everything you need in a travel cup and more!

I don't really find myself needing a self-close mug, instead of just one that I manually close, but I still wouldn't use this one. I found it difficult to grip considering where the button was located to open. It required more grip strength than I wanted to use sip coffee. You needed to use your entire hand, rather than just a thumb which would have seemed more intuitive. Even once opened the button being so close to the top of the mug lead to it being a little difficult to tilt back to actually drink (it always felt my hand was in the way)
