Lasts forever
I got this water bottle 7 years ago. It's been with me from elementary to high school and has refused to break despite being dropped very many times and from pretty high places (It does not dent easily). Another nice feature is that it not only does not leak, but when my water bottle was submerged in a pool for a while the pool water did not get into the bottle ( works the same in the ocean). The only thing that broke so far is the locking mechanism, but the bottle functions fine without it. I did buy a new one of these 2 years ago and ended up loosing it in a matter of weeks, I did like it though. The rubber bottom is very nice and I wish more water bottles had it. the insulation of the bottle works too well. I once put 2 ice cubes in it and went on a hike in the desert and it stayed really cold the entire day even when the outside of the bottle was really hot to the touch, and it was in direct sunlight too. I would warn anyone to only buy this bottle if you are willing to never have to buy a new one again.

Best water bottle ever!
Almost all the bad reviews are for the wrong water bottle. This one does not have a "straw" or need "suction" to work properly. You pour this into your mouth. It's perfect in every way and the only type of lid like this from any manufacturer that can be cleaned properly.

Awesome color and leak free
I’ve had this cup in the 40 oz size also and I love them both. Easy to carry each day. My coffee stays hot for my morning job from 5:00 am til I am in the middle of my next job 11am. By then I have consumed all of my coffee. Cod drinks stay cold for hours also.

Best waterbottle and the only kind we buy! Actually bought these when they were owned by Avex. Please make this bottle in more colours and advertise it/get it in more stores (especially in Canada!)...more people need to know how good this waterbottle is!!!

Can use with one hand and survives my life!
This is the best, bar none! A bottle that stays closed, doesn't leak ever, even when dropped. No dirt gets in, no dog hair(I'm a veterinary technician), keeps my coffee hot and ice tea cold. I like it so much, I got a second one.

Straw doesnt work
The straw mechanism doesnt seal properly. I followed instructions from another reviewer to fix the issue but no luck. It’s a design flaw. Don’t recommend. Sad because thought I could trust a Coleman design.

Best thermos I’ve ever owned.
This is the third time I’m buying one. People keep taking mine because I rave about how good they are. They keep everything cold for more than 24 hrs. If I put ice cubes in it there are still cubes the next day!

The only solution on the market that seals the spout once you release the button. You don't need to manually close it, or do anything, out of your hand = sealed. One hand drinking without a problem.

The top pulls off
This bottle is not safe. The top cover pulls off, after twisted down, with the slightest pull. I can't find out how to return it for a refund. I'm disappointed. I've had it about two months.

i couldn't wait any longer. I bought a 24oz autopop bottle to see if the lids would interchange. they do. so if you just want a lid you can save a couple bucks and buy the 24oz bottle with autoseal lid and it will fit both the 24oz and the 40 oz bottle.
