Would be Excellent Except for...
Would be 5 stars if the flash, left after the water carrier is removed from the injection mold, would be removed from the top and bottom of the handle. Other than the left-over flash on the handle. The spigot works fine and does not leak.

Nice Jugs
Great product. I have had several for many years. The vent cap keeper is a weak link; it usually breaks in short order. The spouts seem to last fairly long. Replacements for both parts âtre readily available. The jug lasts forever, and can handle a fair amount of abuse. Does not cause water to take on any off tastes.

Solid but Leaky
It’s a great solid water jug but the nozzle is impossible to get on straight as to not leak. Occasionally it will not leak and we didn’t do anything differently so it has to be something with the way it is threaded. We bought two and they both do this!

Mess free water
I do not have this exact one, but I have one very similar to it that slides inside of a Coleman cooler. It’s perfect to store your water in a convenient spot. The Spicket allows you to pour water, almost perfectly

Good jug but bad spout.
Jug is fine but the spout is brittle and has hairline cracks all over it. Had to buy a different brand blue jug that is slightly larger and has a bigger spout which is made from a more durable plastic.

Leak free and perfect for travel
These are seriously so great for on the go and never leak on me! I’ve tried cheaper alternatives but they are never made any where near as strong and durable as the Coleman kind!

These are the best I have ever used
I have had this style jug since the 1980s. They have ridden in the back of my trucks and wheelers for thousands of miles in the mountains and deserts of CA, AZ and NV on my camping and riding trips. Gravel roads to old steep 4WD mining roads, these jugs never popped or leaked. The original 6 I bought in about 85 finally started getting brittle on their tops... after 30 years in the intense sun on my trips or in the heat of my attic during the rest of the year. But the bottoms were still good, so I cut them down into 3 inch deep tool trays for use in the garage. lol I have bought more of these over the years and they are all good. To replace the original brittle ones, I simply bought more of the same style a few weeks ago. Still the same design and thick walls which are so important. I now have 15 of these and I use them all on some of my longer trips in the arid wasteland. These really are the best. Yes, the breather cap strap can break off if you are rough, and the valve does not flow as fast as it could, but these are minor problems. All that matters is having water when I am 75 miles on dirt trails and roads from the nearest town. Take care of these and they will last half a lifetime. They are the best. And they are still made in the USA so you know they are not loaded with toxic chemicals like the cheap foreign stuff is. Thanks for still making these, Coleman!
