Protect your lantern with the Coleman® Lantern Carry Case so it’ll be ready to go the next time you head outdoors. This tough case helps protect against dents, scratches and broken globes. The base has room for extra mantles and miscellaneous other items. The case latch locks securely and is positioned at the top for easy loading and unloading. Simply let your lantern cool, place it on the base and place the lid on top and lock it, and you’re ready to head on to your next adventure.

COULD BE A BETTER PRODUCT
I would have given it a 5 but there are a few things that need to be changed on this item. I had to have a friend of mine drill out the top notch on the inside so that my lantern would fit in it. The so called "latches" on the bottom needs to be reengineered! They break off or one end of the little tab breaks and the lid will come off while carrying it. I had bought one of these cases for my other lantern and that's what happened!! I WAS NOT HAPPY! BUT......there is NO other choice for a carrier for these things. COLEMAN: FIX THE ISSUES ON THESE THINGS.

Cheaply made and Coleman won’t warranty them
I purchased this lantern case February 16 2018. Used it in August on a camping trip and the clips that hold the bottom on failed and dropped my lantern breaking the globe. I packed it back up until I could get a globe. Now on November 29 2018 I was loading my gear for another trip with my repaired lantern and the clip broke off completely. Coleman refuses to offer any warranty for the case because they say it’s an accessory and they are not covered.

Quality issue
Firstly, the locking at the base and the case is not very secure. The material is so thin.
Note, will not fit the Northstar dual fuel lantern if the rubber base is fitted. Will have to remove and it is definitely a pain.

A must have if you have lanterns
With reasonable care, a Coleman lantern will last for decades. Part of that reasonable care is protecting my lanterns from damage. These plastic cases, made to fit Coleman lanterns exactly, do a great job of protecting them.

Northstar (2000B) will not fit.
If you have a Dual Fuel NorthStar, save the box, that's your carry case. in order to use the (3000000527) carry case, you need to remove the rubber base on your new lantern!

Black Lantern Carrying Case
My 220H Lantern snapped right into the base of the case with enough room to store the extra mantels I had purchased which was what I had expected. The quality of the case is average to what I would expect for a cheap plastic blow mold case. There is nothing fancy about it and the only concern I will have is the possibility of one or both of the tabs breaking during normal use especially if I use it during the cold weather months
