Trusty stove back up and running
The stove was being fussy after many years of scouting use. The old part was difficult to disassemble and I broke it. Luckily the new assembly was available and easy to fit. Stove is now ready for many more years of use.

High Yellow Flame after installation
I cleaned everything thoroughly and installed this new Valve and Generator assembly and all I get is a high yellow flame. I'm at a loss to get this stove working again.

Historically, the Coleman 425 was a classic two‑burner camp stove model (some versions are gas or dual fuel), whereas 3000000396 refers to a specific Dual Fuel Two‑Burner stove part number used in a later version of Coleman&rsquo;s dual‑fuel products. While they may be similar in function (both are two‑burner Coleman stoves), they are different models with different parts and specifications, so parts and compatibility may not be interchangeable.
