Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great on my #428 3-Burner! Although this generator would practically last forever if one only burnt white gas in it! However when using unleaded gas, I have found by using Shell unleaded regular gas they last a bit longer than using other brand unleaded gas since, I believe Shell doesn't use additives in their regular unleaed gas. I am 74 years old and am stoked that Coleman is making generators for unleaded gas since I use to use unleaded gas in them back in the 1980's even before Coleman made the wider bore generator to accomodate the "dirty" gas. Awesome product! We use the stove for camping and for 'tailgate cooking' while out fishing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unleaded Coleman Stove Generator I needed this to repair my Stepfathers unleaded Coleman Stove. The stove was barely used but gas had sat in it for many years and destroyed the original one. I cleaned out the tank and valve, installed this generator and she lit right up perfectly. Coleman seriously needs to make the parts for the older gear, it's definitely still around. I have quite a bit of it myself, but fortunately I have been able to find my parts still. Love the old AMERICAN MADE Coleman gear. It's pretty much indestructible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong Product, No Response from Coleman I ordered generators for the 424 stove, and received generators for the 414 instead. Somewhere in the system, something was wrong. I wrote Coleman and got no response (although the listing now shows 414 instead of 424 as it did when I ordered). Even their customer service rep sent the wrong ones when she ordered them for me previously, and then I got the wrong ones when I ordered them myself. Beware when ordering off the Coleman website.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened to me Did not fit my 5-year-old 414 dual fuel guide series 2 burner, 17,000 BTU stove. Apparently the 17k BTU model isn't made any more. Tried 2 different generators, on the advice of Coleman associates, but neither had the correct thread size. I ended up buying the generator/valve assembly but could not remove the old one from the tank. It was made to never be removed. So, I am buying a new stove. They work well.
