Our Cascade 18 1-Burner Camping Stove is designed to work primarily with 16.4 oz. propane cylinders, but it can be connected to a 20-pound propane tank using a specific adapter hose. The recommended adapter is the Coleman&reg; High-Pressure 5-foot Propane Gas Hose and Adapter. It's a small stove. I mean it's obvious that we will need a protective hard shell case to store and carry it. Coleman, we are waiting.

Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that the performance of Coleman&reg; propane stoves will not be affected by temperatures above 0&deg;F or -18&deg;C. As the temperature drops below 0&deg;F, there will be a gradual reduction of maximum heat output down to -20&deg;F or -29&deg;C, where the stove may fail to function. Altitudes above 10,000 feet will have an effect on both propane and liquid fuel stoves. Because of lower air pressure and decreased oxygen at these altitudes, you will experience more yellow flamess and less heat output. The stoves will not operate as efficiently. All fuel appliances (Stoves and Lanterns) should be used outdoors in well-ventilated areas clear of combustible materials due to the danger of fire, the emission of carbon monoxide (CO) from burning fuel, and the effects of carbon monoxide exposure. Please be advised that you can connect the stove to a 20-pound propane tank by using the Coleman&reg; High-Pressure 5-ft Propane Gas Hose (part number 2000038196) and the Coleman&reg; Large Stove Carry Case (part number 2000020971), but the carry case may be slightly larger than the stove.
