Rated 5 out of 5 by Vegamax from Great stove, easy to use At first I was disappointed with the stove because the flame adjustment didn’t go low enough to avoid burning eggs or pancakes. However, I bought 2 Flame Tamers (10” diameter flat plate of steel) from Camp Chef which I center over each of the round burners. I then place a griddle or cast iron fry pan on the stove. The Flame Tamers distribute the heat more evenly across the 10” disc and does a much better job of cooking, without burning the food. I also bought a bulk tank adapter to use with the 5 or 20 pound tank. Overall, I’m pleased with this stove and use it frequently when we camp in our RV, since it keeps the smells and heat outside. It is also very lightweight and portable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by RTD1 from Poor quality control I received my stove a few days ago and the bottom and side were dented causing one side to wobble. Both the shipping box and the factory Coleman box and packaging showed no sign of damage. The battery door screw would just turn and click but wouldn't open. Once I was finally able to get it open (by pressing in on the tab the screw attaches to with a screwdriver) I bent the angle of it and now it works as it should. The burners all work good and are easy to control. The piezo igniter is nice to have and worked well. Too bad Coleman quality has dropped so much. Hard to believe this stove was made in America.

I bought this stove for the back porch so I could throw a griddle on it and cook my bacon on it without making the whole house smell like bacon. I like it ok and it does that job fine. The reason i gave it 3 stars is th as t if I wanted to throw my eggs on there, I don't! The burners just do not adjust low enough for real cooking. If you just want to boil water...great! But real cooks know you just cant rush good food. I dont like scorched eggs. Not about to try it with this thing. Wind proof ? Probably.... its an upside down blow torch. Sorry coleman, Pretty nice gadget but your engineers need to go spend some time with a cook. Let me know how that goes and I may stand in line for the next generation camp stove.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hampton Frampton from Excellent stove, but one small complaint Excellent stove, the middle section makes the large griddle cook very evenly. The grease collection works very well and a whole pound of bacon cooks easily with all grease draining away nicely. My only complaint is how sensitive the temp adjustment is in the two round burners, it seemed they were either too hot, or off. We had to play with the knobs very carefully to get a low heat setting appropriate for the griddle. We did get it to work at a low setting eventually, but it was super sensitive. When boiling water the high setting was perfect, it produced lots if heat. All things considered, this is an excellent stove.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GlowBoy from Good overall, but doesn't simmer well Just spent a week with a Boy Scout troop using this to cook 3 meals a day. The electronic ignition is nice, no matches needed. Just turn on the gas and hold down the button for a second or so to light. Boils and grills well, but doesn't simmer well. Hard to turn down the heat as low as I'd like for some dishes. Would have hoped it would be better at simmering than the Classic model, which other patrols in our troop had, but as near as I can tell it cooks the same as those. Really, I think all you get with this stove for twice the price is the electronic ignition and the center burner. I might be finally be buying a Coleman dual-burner for myself before long, and personally I'd just get the Classic for half as much money. But there's nothing wrong with this one other than the ability to turn the burners down as low as I'd like. If you don't mind spending more, this stove is a good one too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lee_Ving from Durable but has one issue. It's been a reliable stove for several years--sturdy and easy to clean. The downside is the burners are NOT ADJUSTABLE. It's either off or 100%-All-On-Phasers-On-Stun. Too easy to burn things as a result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bmorris from Strong heat output I use this grill camping with the Boy Scouts. While the heat adjustments can be finicky, I am able to get it low enough in most situations to get the job done. What I normally do is bend down to look directly at the flames while adjusting the burner control. This grill shines in the fact that it can comfortably hold 2 large Dutch ovens and using the center burner can evenly distribute the heat across these pots or griddle. We can also brew coffee and cook our breakfast at the same time. I highly recommend this camp stove

Rated 2 out of 5 by CamperBob from Flame is either blow-torch or off and more probs While the construction seems very solid and this stove is great for boiling big pots of water, it is generally useless for anything else because the flame control is so touchy - it's either very-high, high, or off. YouTube videos show older models that you could take the valve knobs off, pull out the stems, clean them, then have a wide range of very-low to very-high. With this model, the handle assembly prevents access to make that basic repair. As others report, the girdle doesn't store properly. Please post how to get at the valves to do the simple cleaning or do you really need to take the entire thing apart?

How to Set It Up:
1. Place the stove on a flat, stable outdoor surface.
2. Open the lid fully.
3. Attach a standard 16.4 oz propane cylinder to the regulator on the side of the stove by turning it clockwise until secure.
4. Slowly turn on the propane at the tank.
5. Turn the burner knob to the &ldquo;Light/High&rdquo; position and ignite.

This stove does not have a built-in thermostat. The temperature is controlled manually using the burner knobs on the front. Turning the knob adjusts the flame level.
Please remember to use the stove outdoors only and ensure connections are secure before lighting.
