We have a Coleman pop-up that has a dual. propane stove built into the cabinets. It works very well, but there are certain foods better prepared outside (i.e. bacon). Who wants that greasy smell waiting for you every time you walk inside, This small stove, and the convenient carrying case make it a snap to set up outside. It cooks evenly, with plenty of temperature to fry anything. The butane canister loads in seconds. It's very easy to clean. Best of all, it couldn't be simpler to operate. AND....it stays lit in a substantial wind. We love it! Great product that performs the way you hope a Coleman product will perform.

The gas in our home was turned off as a result. It works GREAT and cooks fast! Please note this is not used indoors. I use it in the garage while sitting in my Coleman folding chair:)!

It's perfect for cooking anything you need to while you're out and about in the wilderness without bringing a huge set-up with you. I love the fact that it can also be used for backpacking because it's so light, and it only takes a small propane bottle to work. Definitely recommend for a small family or if you're a solo camper. It puts out enough heat to cook anything you need without wasting much fuel

Rated 4 out of 5 by kenken_uv from Lightweight and very portable butane stove The Coleman Butane Stove is for a portable cooking ideal, especially for camping, picnics, and outdoor activities due to its lightweight, compact design and ease of use for a quick meal. It can boil water fairly quickly. It has good safety features, simply setup and usage. A single butane canister lasts around 1.25 hours on high, making it ideal for short trips or single meals. However it’s not designed for harsh weather conditions or extensive cooking. I still recommend for its price and convenience.

Pot however on smaller pans and even a full size coffee pot most of the heat goes up the outside of the item rather under it so the handle is red hot but the contents are only marginally warm . Having said that the heat out put is also geared to the larger cookware this stove is incredible under a 12 inch cast iron frying pan but not so great under thinner cookware as it also does have hot and cold spots.

It puts out a clean burning flame which is adjustable from low to high. I use the lowest setting when I am simmering something in my cast iron Dutch oven, and the high setting for searing meats. The stove is also very fuel efficient, and the fuel cans are easy and safe to install. I use mine indoors on the counter with no foul odors from the burning fuel. This stove also came with a pretty solid storage/ carrying case.

The only thing I don’t like about it is that it has no protection from the wind so the fire gets blown out a bit of you have too much wind around. It’s a great thing to keep handy for those emergencies or if you’re a camping fan, you don’t have to settle for sandwiches and chips for a meal and can go ahead and cook outdoors!

You can use it to grill or to boil food or whatever u want to. This is a great outdoor stove. Perfect addition to outdoor cooking. We love it so much and use it every time we have picnic or want a weekend hotpot in a cold weather. The price is affordable. It comes with a hard plastic case for storing . Great stove!

You can use pots or pans on the burner and even a coffee pot if you're anything like me and need about 2 cups of coffee every morning before you can really get moving. It is lightweight and portable. I've made many meals on it when camping and it has come in handy a few times when the power has gone out too.

It is doable and breaks down very easily. It can be cleaned easy and it has a shield that wraps around three corners of it That helps with any type of splatter or wind really a great addition to any campsite or outing where you need a stove two burner is even better.

The small compast propane are cheap, and they last forever, and it won't work unless you have in in there correctly, so if you were to knock it over, it won't hurt anything. The heat is great, from cooking really low to hot.

Sometimes if it’s windy I’ll slide it a little further into the truck be to control the temp but that’s not a complaint. I’ve got a couple of the bigger ones with sides when I’m more long term. I do like this one is fueled by butane. I don’t have to carry a ton of bottle.

Conveniently housed in a little metal briefcase like box is everything you need to have a sweet gas powered stove top where you are. Well almost anywhere that is, I don't recommend trying to take one on your next commercial flight. And it's not to say that the propane grills aren't awesome too, but I do prefer these to them, just for simplicity and convenience.

I've used mine while in the process of moving and it has held up better than I could have imagined so A+ on durability as well!! I also love the safety features so that it can just get cut on and run out gas without being locked into place and started! Perfect little stove!

Definitely recommended if you love traveling with family to outdoor adventures..

Our electricity was out and we needed a way to cook. Its burns and cooks great. Doesn’t use a ton of butane either one bottle last for a bit. We also pull it out to do s’mores from time to time. I have no complaints on this burner.
