Excellent portable convenient oven.
To start: this oven won’t be your consistent well working oven at home. The temperature regulation does require attention. And I have found items “bake” a little different. So I recommend using it a few times at home to get a feel for it to make adjustments to your process. Or just plan on needing to make adjustments while camping.
With that said: I love this oven. I had one many years ago when I lived in a remote wilderness location and needed an oven for baking. I have since bought one for myself for camping and emergency baking at home. I find I need to monitor the temperature and adjust as needed. Also, the items I have cooked visually appear different when fully cooked. I burned a thing of corn bread the first time because it didn’t “look” fully cooked just by peaking in. So check more closely on your items. Also. Use the middle rack location. With this I have been able to get good corn bread and good rolls while camping. I also made some apple cinnamon muffins.
Although it is not perfect and you have to monitor closely….I still five it 5 stars for portability and convenience and effectiveness once you get a system down.
Oven is 12”x12”x12” when opened. 12”x”12x3 when folded shut. I use an 8x8 pan for cornbread. From back to door, 8” is about as big as you can go. Youprobably can do 8x10 max. Also. A smaller 6 cupcake pan works in here. And most bread loaf pans

Great little stove attachment.
Amazingly uncomplicated. Packs super small. Works great. I really can’t believe I hadn’t seen one of these until my last river trip. Breakfast burritos, baked potatoes, you name it. Wish it came with a second shelf.

Successful First Cinnamon Roll
So far so good. I was able to bake cinnamon roll with use of welders blanket and baking stone. I also bought internal thermometer to verify temp readings. The coleman temp gauge is in par with the internal thermometer as long as the blanket is being utilized.

Portable Camping Oven
Finally pulled the trigger and made the purchase. I have yet to use this oven but it looks and has the same build quality of the same Coleman ovens that I grew up with. These ovens have been around for quiet awhile and I remember them as a kid in hunting camp, fishing trips and just good old camp trips. These will bake/cook anything you want along with your white gas or propane Coleman stoves. They take a little practice but that's what makes it fun. I had looked at these online used and you get this one right from Coleman brand new for less than what they want. I can't wait to break this in and see if I'm as good a baker/cook as my grandpa, dad, or mom were. I kinda doubt it but that's not the ovens fault ,lol. Oh well gives me the excuse to be out in the hills working on my baking/cooking skills.

I was sent a rusty unit by Coleman and am unhappy.
I bought this new from coleman.com. Underneath the knob to open my oven door it is completely rusted, even on the inside of the oven it's rusty. I love the oven, I have baked 3 loaves of bread in it. The thermometer was 100 or so degrees off but seems to be adjustable with my fingers. What I don't love is that I received a unit with rust damage.

Amazing for its design
We are building off grid on top of a mountain at 6,100' elevation in Montana. We've been living in tents with woodstoves for 9 months now, cooking on large propane burners, mostly. I am a retired restaurateur and cook. This thing rocks with some modifications!
I embellished the tab connections with needle nose pliers to tighten. Slipped some tin foil in the top, back seam for the lid that gaps a bit, and purchased 2 fire bricks ($5 total) wrapped them in tin foil for any spills and placed them on the bottom of the oven for protection of bottom burning and give thermal mass to keep the oven constant.I then turned the tip of the door latch more inward for a tighter seal.
I have baked everything I want to make....cookies, cakes, bread, biscuits, casseroles, roasted vegetables, meatloaf, pork tenderloin, whatever you want.
I suppose it's usefulness will be determined by your heat source. It doesn't work on my flaming woodstove, needs a steady, controllable flame. We have a large outdoor propane stove that works well. Don't heat it up with super hot flame, will warp the sides and the tray won't hold. With my stove it takes 10 minutes to get to 350 degrees but the stove is rated to 30,000 BTUs, of course it's not on that high, more like a large birthday candle flame.
Anyway, I love this thing!

Best camp oven!
We bought a travel trailer that did not have an oven. We got this Coleman oven and it works great outside on our camp stove! We found a small round pizza stone that fits inside and this oven works perfectly. No burned baked goods. Depending on how long you cook in the oven, our outside camp stove does use more propane than an indoor oven. You do need to monitor the temperature and the cooking time because this oven runs hot.

Light, compact, does OK job as oven
I've had this oven for about 6-7 years and used it many times camping for baking biscuits and roasting vegetables. It's a little fussy to set up and fold, so check the instructions the first time and practice a time or two, but once you know how to fold everything it's held open or folded with just 2 clips. It's a decent size for car camping and will hold small baking sheets and 8" pie pans. It's very lightweight, doesn't take much space folded, and easy to store and carry. It's aluminum, with no insulation, so the outside gets very hot, but temperature is a bit difficult to regulate and keep stable, especially if there is any wind. I added a small pizza stone which I place in the bottom to act as a heat sink and help stabilize the inside temperature. Small stoves may not be able to achieve the temperatures needed for baking. It would be nice if it included a second wire shelf, or if they were available to buy as an accessory.

Great when no power
I purchased this as a "just in case" type of item. I wanted it in case of power outrage. I Alway keep propane on hand for heaters and a stove already. I was so happy to have this when our power was out for 2 days. In was easier to cook multiple items and something different than on the stove. I always have one now and always asked about mine.

Affordable and easy to pack
Works well with a pizza stone on middle height of grate. Do not set it and leave it. Takes some adjusting to keep temperature steady. There are several good you tube videos with tips on getting the most out of the oven.
I would purchase again.

Perfect oven
I bought one of these years ago and loved it so much but then lost it. I was so excited to find one at a yard sale for 2.00 I grabbed it! Then we found the lost one and now I m so happy to own two of these. I will never part with them. They bake muffins, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, and handy to keep food warm.

Mostly ok
I bought this mostly because I just wanted one. I've used it a few times on the patio to try it out and on one camping trip.
Overall it works ok. I would give it 5 stars except that the thermometer is way off. I have to stick a thermometer off a gas grill into the top slots to get accurate readings.

I remember my mother having one when I was a kid... about 50 years ago! I looked for it everywhere but it seems it's not available in Canada (I have not even seen it on the Canadian website!).
I ordered it last year and just love it! Many of my friends would also like to see it available here.

Perfect camp oven
The oven is great. I haven't had any luck getting it over 350°F. But that could be due to my old camp stove not putting out much btu's. But it's a great addition to my camp kitchen. Nice to have biscuits and cornbread when in the woods! I love that it folds flat for transport too.

you don't know, the never ending camp oven
Most of my problem was with the burners on the vintage Coleman stove ( 50 years old or more, all brass hard ware, cleaned the the lines, 100%, it worked great. Keep up the good work. Who ever disigned it ,did a really good job

It’s my mistake but I thought all I needed to do was attach a gas line and canister to get this going. It doesn’t have a burner built in unfortunately so I’m going to have to get a burner especially for it (which is a dra)
