He's a contractor and working out in the cold they are running to the store for coffee all day. Using a propane coffee maker actually makes it incredibly easy to have coffee on the job site that's fresh brewed and hot all day. The quality of the pot is just as good as an excellent coffee pot in your kitchen. It was easy to use it was easy to make and it's easy to transport. I love this coffee pot!

It overflows out of the basket and ground go everywhere. It’s like it’s missing a part under the basket to allow push the spring open and let the coffee out. Pretty expensive to not get any more than a couple of uses out of.

Why Coleman no longer offers a steel coffee pot, boggles the mind. Using only a glass coffee pot forces me to wrap it in bubble wrap, pack it in a special spot, so as not to break it. It becomes something to worry about, the whole time. We now leave it at home, and now use a steel perculator to make our coffee. It isnt much different than a plug in pot. You just put the propane bottle on it and turn it on push a button and when it ignites you leave it alone and let it do its thing. It takes about the same ammount of time as a conventional coffee pot. Great tasting coffee! I would deffinatly recommend this to anyone who loves to camp!!

The machine works just like a home coffee maker but rens off a standard 1 lb propane tank. Simply add water, put in a coffee filter and grounds, and light it up! It’s a bit slower than an electric model, but you’re camping! Can’t beat fresh coffee in the morning. Over the years, the machine has been very reliable. We broke a pot, but that was easily replaced. Absolutely no other problems.

Aside from taking a while to brew, 15 minutes, it works flawlessly and in any conditions. The coffee is super hot and tastes good. We bring it on picnics as well - nothing like having a hot coffee next to a secluded lake while travelling. Would like the carry case at some point and am looking for the optional stainless steel carafe. Hookup and startup is easy. It does exactly what I wanted it to.

It is a bit on the bulky side, but I could get over that. I think it’s convenient to take camping, but it seems to take quite long to brew. Not only that, but I saw water kept pouring out on the sides. It didn’t do it all the time, but it can get messy. Coffee tasted good and was perfect temperature, but sadly, it needs a lil improvement.

It was so simple to set up and get ready. It did take a few minutes longer than I expected to finish but that is not something I didn't half expect. The main thing was it worked and the coffee was great. I will be using this a lot in the future. Also great to have on standby in case of a power outage as well.

Zero problems thus far. 10 cups of hot brewed coffee sure beats every other camp coffee setup we have ever tried. We keep our coffee maker outside, year round, in a bench type storage container, in its box with the styrofoam. If I had to make one complaint, it would be the glass carafe. Ours is still in one piece after dozens of uses but I am always concerned that it will break. There is no need to go past the low heat setting. Our coffee on low is hotter than the electric coffee maker we use at home. Wet your filter in its holder before adding coffee, this can help keep grounds in their place. Those who are saying the coffee maker gets too hot, anything that produces heat is going to get hot. Coleman clearly marks and warns you of the hot areas. This has been so for a very long time.

It’s easy to assemble. Hooks up to those green propane bottles and makes a whole pot in 18 minutes It even pauses to serve, if you don’t want to wait. Simple to operate and even easier to clean. I also use this in the field ( I’m always working out in the field) and it never gives me any problems. Worth it to own one for me.

It brews much like a normal coffee pot except it takes a little longer and we think it ends up hotter. The coffee tasted great and we love that we have a portable option. Only two things about this coffee pot that I would mention: 1) I do not like that it has a glass pot. We experienced no issues but I am rather clumsy so it's probably just a matter of time before I break it. 2) the top part where the coffee filter and grounds go would not stay pushed in all the way. It kept popping out a little. However, this did not appear to affect function or cause any issues for us. I do like it has a pause feature so you can get coffee before the whole brew cycle is done. It was also very easy to clear. Overall a really great product that we find very useful!

I am just too going camping and having is the worst coffee in the morning, and coffee is a must for me. This coffeemaker makes me feel like I just went to the store and bought my favorite cup of coffee. I am beyond happy with this product. Glass doesn't make sense for camping. My first one I purchased in 2014, but one event when the temps were below freezing I left it out so the waterline busted inside the machine. When I went to buy a new one it had a glass pot! Still have my metal pot, but had to reweld the spout. The pause lever didn't last very long but we use this often so no biggie.

I usually just take instant coffee because is so much easier than trying to pull out a coffee pot and deal with finding a plug and such. Not sure if you've ever had instant coffee, it's not the greatest. This is super convenient and easy to travel with. All you have to do is hook up your propane you already have anyway, and fresh hot coffee it is. So easy to use. Also, really easy to clean.

Walmart showed that the carry case came with the coffee maker, but it didn’t. I’ve searched several retail sites for the case, including Walmart, but have been unsuccessful at finding it for sale. In fact, even Coleman.com doesn’t list it. Is the case no longer available? If so, why not? It’s a great case!

I really like this coffee maker. Woke up, put in filter, add coffee, fille reservoir with 6 cups water, turn to high, and push button to start. 7 minutes later check reservoir to add another 6 cups of water for full pot. Pour cup and smile. This thing brews a great cup of coffee.

It runs on the small green propane canisters, brewing a pot of coffee in no time. The built-in igniter is super convenient, so there's no need for extra tools to get it going. The only downside is that it's a bit bulky and can be tricky to pack. A hard case would be ideal for easier storage and to prevent any damage on the road.

Its really nice to have when you don't have access to electricity. My husband also likes to take this on job sites where he doesn't have a way to make coffee and it saves money so he doesn't have to go buy a hot coffee while away from home. Works great and is super convenient.

The coffee is just as good as it is when I make coffee at home. I like that you do not need any electric to have a cup of morning coffee. This is a must have for people who do trips and do not have electric readily handy. This would also be perfect for tailgating.

At this time, we do not have a direct replacement or updated part that is approved for use with this specific model. For safety reasons, we do not recommend using regulators from other stoves or products, as compatibility and pressure requirements may differ and could result in unsafe operation.
