I was looking for a mug that kept my water cold and was not too big nor too small. This snapseal mug was everything I was looking for. I fill up my mug at the beginning of the day with only a few ice cubes. By lunchtime my water is still freezing cold and the cubes are still there. The snapseal keeps me from never spilling while I am moving around my classroom. Lastly, the mug is extremely easy to clean. I would definitely recommend this mug to a friend!

Very difficult to keep hold of and... - Lid is quite difficult to get on and off, made worse by the slickness of bottle - Even though the 'snapseal' is something you push up on, it's difficult to open at times. - Wide mouth bottle is easy to clean - Insulation isn't great, it's just double wall - Silicone gasket is minimal and depends on you getting the cap on very tight - No strap or handle Hard to open unless you stop what you're doing and use both hands.

I add water to my powdered drink mix put the lid on and shake it vigorously without spilling a drop. It keeps things cold or hot (depending on what I'm drinking) for hours. I start my day at 8:30am when I get done at 5 pm my drink may not be ice cold or piping hot but they are definitely warm or cool (again depending on what I was drinking in the am!). I got the speckled one and it's really nice looking to. Design is great. It fits into cup holders and is comfortable to hold on to.

And this travel mug does just that. The gunmetal color is great and the finish is smooth and comfortable to hold. I would prefer a rubber grip, but not having one isn't a huge disappointment. The cup seals exceptionally well. I've been able to shake it vigorously and even drop it, but the liquid stays inside. This travel mug is my perfect companion when either at work, out travelling, or just sitting around the house sipping on a hot beverage enjoying my day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Meg27 from Wonderful cup despite a flaw [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Contigo bottles, I have used many over time due to the wonderful seal that doesn’t leak and how it keeps my water cold for a long time. I love this cup as well, despite a small flaw with the seal. There is a tiny spot on one side of the cup that leaks if it is on the same side as the cup is being tilted when I drink from it. This is the first product that I’ve had from Contigo with this issue and I have a similar different color cup that doesn’t have an issue with the seal so I suspect it is just the one cup that has this flaw. Despite the flaw I still love the cup and would highly recommend it to others.

I put 3 ice cubes and filled this container with water and after 4 hours in my hot car my water was still ice cold! My car thermometer said it was 103° and this container still kept my drink so cold! Not only is the cup functional but it's so stylish. I love the print, it reminds me of art work. The design has various shades of blues, and purples. I love the lid. The lid has a pop open tab that when opened it opens the hole the drink comes out of. If the tab is closed it does not leak! You can really hold this upside down and not one drop leaks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jasonjason from Worst thing I ever bought - 0 stars Lid frustrating to put on. Always ends up crooked unless you take 30 seconds to screw it on straight. Leaks if rubber o-ring is not put in properly, which is near impossible to get in straight anyway, so 50% of the time it leaks. Leaks when o-ring buckles and twists when lid is tightened. You can't see it's twisted as lid is on so it leaks even though you think it's going to be okay. Drinks don't stay hot for very long - has a plastic lid so all the heat escapes out the top. Even if I put in super hot coffee, doesn't last hot for very long. Lid is awful to drink out of. Leaks around your mouth when trying to sip it, who designed this? It is rubbish and going in the bin!

Yes the mug is a beautiful but simple marble color that makes me feel a bit more fancy - but the star of this design is the lid. I like that it twists off because sometimes the lids that are suction seals are harder to remove. The best part is the SNAPSEAL feature hands down. I travel alot on the road and products with the open hole for the mouth always seem to spill one way or another just buy putting them in the cup holder. Having the seal, no more do I have to worry that when I drive up a hill or make a turn that there is a possibility im going to have coffee on me!

Airbrush Merlot and, boy, do I love this thing. I've never been one to use thermos like products, I'm actually quite wasteful by using paper to-go cups regularly for my beverages. For now on I'll ONLY be using my new Contigo cup. It keeps things ridiculously cold or hot, depending on the beverage, for like ever!!! It's super functional, versatile, and best of all, no matter where I go or what I do it NEVER LEAKS!! I have several Contigo mugs and bottles and I love each and every one of them. They keep things cold and hot for hours, don’t leak, clean up well and just generally rock. My kid even has some that have been to school for 2 years in a row and still somehow survive being dropped and treated like dirt with minimal wear. This particular Contigo mug is great at keeping things hot and/or cold as I expected it to be. I love the design, it is so colorful! It seals up tight and doesn’t accidentally come unsealed either. There is no leaking with the snap seals and I also don’t burn my mouth when I try to take a drink because of the angle of the mouth piece. I love this color too! It’s called licorice but It’s really just a flat black - which is great! These cups keep my coffee hot all day long! The 16 oz is smaller than most of the others I have, but I like this smaller size and can think of a lot of times that this smaller size would be better. Another awesome Contigo Travel Mug! Highly recommended!

I am a person that ALWAYS has a reusable cup in hand, so ive had a fair share of different styles. The Black Shell print is very attractive. The size is GREAT. I do enjoy a large pour of coffee and this tumbler is just the right size. Temperature is still hot after an hour or so. Only complaint is ive had tumblers in the past with a rubber grip around the middle to avoid slipping. Other than that, very nice.

It fits in every cup holder, keeps my drinks cool (and warm when Winter comes) and is light weight enough to tote around with ease. I appreciate the snap on the opening that makes me feel like the lid is truly shut and will not leak (so far not an issue). I also really like to vibrant color options Contigo offers and I was able to choose a color that fit me rather than just silver. The size and weight are perfect to hold just the right amount of liquid without being too heavy that I need two hands. I am already considering a second one to hoard away in case the need arises.

At 16 ounces it is the perfect size to carry without it feeling clumsy and bulky in your hand. 16 ounces is also a decent amount of water to quench your thirst at one time. I was shocked at how the contigo cup opens because I was it used to that. You flip the top open and sip out the hole on the opposite side. It does take getting used to and I think the lip to cup ratio could be designed better. However, the cup is leak proof and you can even lay it on a bed flat and not worry about spilling.

I really like the design of this mug and how it’s completely leak proof. The lid attaches securely and its easy to seal the lid with the snapseal. I tested this mug with ice cold water and it stayed cold the entire day. The size of this mug is perfect to use around the house or when away from home. It’s not to wide and I can easily grip the mug, it’s comfortable to hold. I also really like that it’s dishwasher safe which makes cleaning very easy. Overall great product that I highly recommend.

I am very picky with my mugs. I don't like having a lot of coffee mugs and just wanted one that I knew would keep my coffee hot for hours, would fit in the cup holder in my car, would not spill through my running around and has a pleasant design. I've looked at a lot articles on mugs in the past. I can take sip of my coffee now 6-8 hours into work and my coffee is still hot. Love this mug so much - it really has changed the way I drink my coffee! It is very easy to use and clean. Really happy with the color and the finish as well. It feels premium. Will return to other Contigo products in the future.

I like my hot beverages HOT and my cold beverages, ICY COLD! I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how well this mug kept my ice water cold. My test was to add ice and water at 5pm one night and check on it at 6am the next morning. As you can see, there is still just a little ice left but the water was still very cold and refreshing. The second test was to see if it leaked so I turned it upside down and nothing. I also was thrilled that the mug did not sweat as many do. There is a little vent that flips up just a little to allow you to sip your drink. To keep it colder/hotter longer, shut the flap and then just open it when you want another sip. Comfortable to hold and fits nicely in the cup holder in my car. Very pleased with this.

They hold up well, fit in my vehicles cup holder perfectly, and do exactly as they claim to do. Even after 8 hours my coffee is still warm (if I have any left). I haven't used them for cold beverages. If you buy the Contigo with the Snap Seal lid, keep the snap seal CLOSED while not in use to keep your beverage hot. The only complaint I have is the hole is a little to small

I am not always able to enjoy my coffee all at one time, and the cups that I usually use allow my coffee to get cold by the time I am able to finish it. This one keeps it hot for hours! I really like the lip of the cup. It allows me to sip my drink without it sloshing out. I was very impressed with the no leak seal too. I am able turn in upside without fear of anything coming out!

I've previously had the Contigo Autoseal and wanted to give the snapseal a try and I love it. When closed bottle never leaks, and when you open it it stays open so you don't have to push the button each time. I used it all day long to keep my water cold when working and the water is still nice and fresh by the end of the day. Works great on hot too. The design on the couture line is beautiful, really adds a really nice touch to elevate the bottle. Overall my favorite bottle, I use Contigo every day and i love it!

I absolutely love how cold this Snapseal mug keeps my drinks even when it is over 100 degrees. It is very stylish and sleek and easy to hold. I love the stainless bottom with the licorice black color. The only complaint I have is the snapdeal part to open is sometimes stiff, but does maintain a firm seal. Also the hole for fluids was smaller than I am used to and took some adjustment to. I use this several days a week and would totally recommend!

My water always stays super cold. My ice stays at minimum 24 hours. I struggled to find them this year at Xmas in a gift pack, so ordered individually paid more but it’s part of my daily routine to prepare my water.

It keeps my coffee super hot for hours and it also keeps my ice from melting in my iced coffee! I loved the sleek design and satin-like finish. The twist off lid makes it easy for you to fill the mug and gives you lots of room. I love how the drinking spout has a little snap function. Once you snap the tab, it opens the little spout area for easy access to your drink without spillage, splash back, or dribble! I have always hated the drink spouts that you have to lift and flip because i always end up with coffee on my nose of getting a little splash back from the lid. This mug definitely is a crowd pleaser!

I take one with me anywhere and everywhere I go from shopping or walking to traveling or just to visit family or friends. I would swear to anyone on this product #1 for how long a drink would stay cold. I was amazed to make a 12-14 hour trip/drive out west and just couldn't believe that my drink was still cold and not only cold but still had ice left, this was very impressive to me and my then finance'! HOWEVER...after the last 4-6 mugs purchased I'm very disappointed that my drinks don't stay cold (and with ice) for more than 3-4 hours, (and seals are falling out of the lids) (I do not use a dishwasher I only hand wash) I'm always wasting due to having to dump out my water logged beverage every few hours. I don't know what to think, but that I am sadly disappointed in this product today. Its like your materials for your product changed drastically. As you can see in the photo I have stood by your product for sometime. The products in the picture is just a few of only "MY" collection, I'm missing about 6 mugs mysteriously. The tall blue beat up mug was my very first one purchased and is over 5 yrs old and keeps cold/hot since the first day it was bought. Because I have been an extended customer to you and your products for a very long time I'm still going to stand by your products and because I'm a firm believer that everything has a hiccup from time to time and things do fall short of perfect so in my opinion your products are going to get the full 5*..However if my problems persist I'll be dropping the rating and will cheat searching for another product similar to yours and for much cheaper of a price.

They keep colder drinks longer that hots one but you can still have a hot drink for at least 4 hours and it will take more than 6 hours for it to lost the heat. The snapseal is easy to open/close and it doesnt leak. The cap of the mug has an oring that sometimes (in my cup) it comes out when I am washing it, probably because my mug is old, but I put it back in place and the mug will stay sealed. I like this size because I can put the mug in almost all my bags . I even take my mug with me for international flights :) I clean them in the dishwasher and I also wash them by hand since my hand fit inside the mug.

It's solid and we'll crafted, which means I won't have to buy another in 2 months - something I've had to do with cheaper bottles. :/ Great construction, tight seal, and wow does it do a great job at keeping your drinks the perfect temperature! I can sip on hot coffee all through my work shift or fill it up with ice water for weekend adventures and it stays cold forever. This is a perfect mug and I'm a fan for life!
