I was the first one to love it and than my wife and daughter followed suit. I love how it keeps my morning coffee warm for so long. I'm kind of a slow coffee drinker so that means a lot to me. It also keeps my homemade smoothie chilled for quite awhile. It's the perfect travel mug in my opinion.

I so loved the original that I was excited to get this one. I am not as impressed with this one. They color is gorgeous, but the metal appears to be thinner and it does not keep my coffee hot as long as the older one. It still works for my morning coffee, and keeps it hot for about 2 hours.

I love that it doesn't give the water a metallic taste like some stainless steel bottles do. The BEST feature is that it's leak-proof! You can literally shake it and not have a leak. You could put it in a backpack or bag and not worry about it. The outside doesn't get hot when it has a hot drink inside. One negative is that this needs to be hand-washed. The top can be washed in the dishwasher. I have to use a lot of force to open the seal so this might not be good for grandma or the kids. A little paint also came off the bottom when I removed the label sticker. Either the paint should be stronger or the sticker should be weaker. There are some tiny areas where I am missing paint already.

I have tried to shake and shake and shake this bottle but the liquid will not leak out. The secret sauce is in the rubber ball that tightly grips the drink sprout, when it's even a little wet it creates a vacuum seal that makes it physically impossible for the leak to happen. This is my new commuter coffee bottle and it also doubles as my weekend hiking bottle.

The first thing I did when we got it was fill it up with water and try to make it leak. NO LEAK! It was great. When it is sealed, it is sealed. I spent the morning at soccer games with hot coffee that didn't get cold. Also, the size fits into most cup holders which is very convenient. Highly recommend.

My only issue is the seal on my oldest one has broke. I have tried and tried but cant locate an new seal. I really dont want to buy a new one since this one is in great shape and only needs a seal plus im kind of attached to it.

I love the deep blue color of it and how easy it is to hold on to. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to drink from it. You don't open the flip part all the way, when you pop it open a little it causes a small hole to open to drink from. The hole is a great size so you get another beverage from it without spilling it all over yourself. I had coffee in it first and it definitely stayed hot a lot longer than normal.

I mostly use it for coffee in the mornings and it keeps it warm for long enough (I usually drink within a couple of hours). One big plus is that it fits in my small car cup holder! Also, I have not had any problems with leaks - so no stains on work clothes! One consideration, the snap seal lid took some getting used to - but once I did, it works perfectly. I really like this mug!

Starting in the morning with a fresh brewed black coffee, the Contigo can keep it a respectable temperature all the way through the late afternoon. As for ice water, it almost works a little too well. This is definitely a cup that requires a light amount of ice (otherwise you end up like me with a chunk of ice at the bottom). The lid is sturdy and not prone to leaking, but does require some force to open and close.

And, no, they are not coffee stains because (1) I have never put any thing but water into this mug, and (2) I washed it just to make sure. And, I have never put this into the dishwasher.

My husband lives on the road with this job and relies on a quality cup to keep his much needed coffee, hot! This cup arrived in great shape. It is easy to open, operate, and drink out of. It is comfortable to hold as well. It kept his coffee hot for a long period of time. His drive one way, all week, has been 3 hours, and he was able able to sip coffee all the way there. He refilled on site, stated very warm for the day, over amd over. He was surprised amd relieved at the same time. He doesn't like his coffee messed with, lol. Overall, this is a well made cup and functions as stated. I received this to test, but all opinions are honest and my own.
