I use it every day and it never spills, it keeps my tea hot all day and gets compliments all the time from people who see it. I have a big dog in the house with a big dog tail that seems to swipe all things on the coffee table...thankfully the Luxe manages to stay sealed no matter how many times it flies off the table.

It keeps any drink the same temperature whether it's hot such as coffee or cold like soda. This has been especially handy when I'm on the go since I dont have to worry about my drinks temperature changing. It's also super easy to wash since I can put it in the dishwasher as I feel like with alot of insulated containers have to be washed by hand.

It does not spill at all, keeps beverages hot for hours, at least 4 hours. It also looks really nice and is easy to clean, is dishwasher safe but is easy to hand wash it too. The system is really easy to use and effectively locks so you don’t accidentally press the button and spill the liquids. I would recommend.

I've had the ones with the grips and even washing them - they still never looked completely clean on the outside. This one is just the right diameter for cup holders in all of our cars. I like the matte color - it's sexy looking.Love the way the lid opens up for cleaning as well.

I prefer cold coffee, and this Contigo kept mine perfectly cold and the ice took hours to melt. I was finished with my coffee way before that happened. I love the look and feel of the mug in my hands, and I know it is stuffy and won’t break easily. And the leak-proof valve has already come in handy to prevent a spill!

No matter the drink, i can trust contigo to keep the drink hot for a few hours. And once I’m done, i can pop the mug in the dishwasher and have ready to use again the next morning. I can’t rave enough about how awesome this travel mug is.

I love that it keeps my drinks cold for up to 12 hours and my coffee hot for up to 5 hours. I also love that its dishwasher safe and spill- proof. If you have not tried one yet I recommend you go get you one. They are awesome!!!! I have already got more.

I appreciate the two lock system that makes it impossible for you to spill on yourself when drinking. But I did notice that if your not careful, some liquid can stay in the sipping area and dribble down the cup...especially if you let your elementary aged child have a sip. So this cup is not foolproof in its design.

I take it to work with me to drink it on my break 4 hours later. It actually was just as hot by the time I was on break! I also was able to throw it in my tool bag without it leaking out, being in construction that’s important to me. Happy I got it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk, leaks like a sieve It was great, for 2 weeks. Now it's no better than an old fashioned ceramic mug, just tip it and your coffee is everywhere. This thing is as useless as a screen door on a submarine. What ever happened to QA from a manufacturer. The first one of these I had, it took 5 years to start leaking. This piece of garbage took two weeks. Complete crap and a waste of money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This is not as good as original design I love the Contigo coffee mug and have bought a few but recently bought this design and it is terrible as it has a dip in it ( at the opening) so there is a spill of liquid when trying to drink. I have it beside my bed and the other model I can drink at night but this one I always spill on myself. I will not buy this model and do not know why it is called LUXE.

My favorite aspect of this cup is the locking mechanism. It's great to push the lever to drink, but then the added spill protection from the lock makes this the perfect cup for anywhere and anything. I feel like coffee stains things and because this is dishwasher safe it prevents that from happening sooner. It holds hot stuff hot, and cold stuff cold for the perfect amount of time! Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the best contigo design Although I loved the other contigo travel mugs I have owned I cannot recommend this style. Even though it looks slick it is hard to use. The lock is so small and positioned that someone with any finger nails cannot use it. Mine is so hard to lock! The button to push to allow liquid to flow is hard to push and hold. All in all an uncomfortable mug!

I like how if I fill it up with ice and water that even after 5 hours my ice is not melted. My older model's paint chipped and "melted" in the dishwasher. When I bought this one, it said dishwasher safe, but it's the same thing. It's chipped and melted as well. I'm giving it a 4 stars on quality, due to the paint.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the stainless steel smudges very easily. I have hard water in Southern California so it leaves a lot of marks, making the outside of the cup look dirty.

I love carrying this around with me because it is simple to hold and have around all the time. One only downside is that it is hard to clean but for the price that it was, it’s worth it!

I burnt my mouth and face What is really concerning is that the mug leg water flow out not only from the sip hole but also from the lock button at the top that is just in front of your eyes
