We have had both hot and cold drinks held in it and it does not leak. Additionally, the drinks stay both hot and cold. Bottle is easy to clean and a nice weight (not too heavy to hold and not to light that it tips easily.

I can toss it in my bag and not worry about it leaking. It keeps everything hot all day. My sister borrowed it and was running for the bus, it fell out of her backpack pocket, hit the ground and STILL didn’t leak!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it but lost the seal! I love my mug, however it started leaking and then I noticed the rubber seal on the lid was missing. We only hand wash our mugs, so I don’t know how this happened. I would hate to put an entire stainless steal mug in a landfill because of a missing seal. Why aren’t the rubber seals available on your site? Please help!

The cap is so easy to put on and take off. It keeps my coffee hot for hours and if I put hot water in it while I am making the coffee to pre-heat it, it keeps it hot even longer!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product but unfortunately bad quality paint My family has always used Contigo and we always will.They work perfectly, never leaks, keep our coffee hot for hours and are easy to clean. The only problem with my latest batch is the quality of the paint. Sadly, some colours start fading after a couple months... I'd rate it a 5 star if it wasn't for the paint.

My only cons were it doesn’t keep ice as long as my Owala, and the sticky part of the label wouldn’t come off without goo gone. However, I love that it’s travel friendly/leak proof and am excited to try hot liquids in it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Grab my Whiskers... OUCH! :) Honestly I love the design of this cup. It works very well and keeps the coffee warm. BUT I have a goatee, and I gotta tell ya... The inside rim of the lid between the metal exterior and the plastic, somehow manages to snag a fwe whiskers at each sip and tugs on them. It hurts and irritates. What can I say?

After prolonged use though, my auto seal lost it's strength and started to leak. The leaking stained several shirts due to this lackluster durability of the seal. I wound up throwing mug out. The top takes up half the space so it leaves you with a small a mouth of liquids to use. I will say the top keeps the liquid very secure so there will be no spillage whatsoever.

I noticed the next day when drinking my coffee there was a horrible odor, went home and washed it again it still smells. So disappointed because I’ve heard nothing but good things about this product.

I was hoping for better performance than previous contigo product from a few years ago but not happy. The new ones leak with hot or cold beverages and leak with or without using the lock. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad lid design The newer lid design with the recessed hole makes it hard to get a good seal with your mouth when drinking. Turns the mug into a dribble glass, especially after a trip to the dentist and your lips are numb. Old Contigo lids were fine. Going to have to find a new brand.
