My previous Meg’s were the “AUTOSEAL® West Loop Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Easy-Clean Lid.” These newer lids have a dip into the drinking hole and the seal is lower. This leaves a small amount of liquid in the dip so when shaken, the liquid splashes. I hope the old lids come back or these are improved. These are definite messy, and I do not recommend purchasing.

I have used it for both hot and cold liquids and find that it keeps both at the right temperature for 6+ hours. It’s leakproof, which is something I’ve had issues with on other thermos brands, and I like the push button to open the drink spout. The only thing I don’t love is that you can only get small sips since the opening is really narrow. Great for hot liquids, not great if you want a refreshing cold drink or to put your water in there. I also have some concerns about cleaning the bulky lid (will dirt get stuck in there, etc) but thus far it’s been great! Perfect for on the go and fits wonderfully in both my hands and car drink holder.

The blueberry color is so much prettier in person. I gave this to my mom and she LOVES it. It keeps her water so cold for days. I love the feature of pressing the button to drink because it prevents spills. She knocks this mug over all the time and not once has it spilled. Very heavy duty, sturdy, and such a pretty mug! Highly recommend if you are looking for a good quality travel mug! 5/5!

I love the autoseal lid which locks the bottle in between sips and makes it both leak & spill proof. I also absolutely love that I can drink easily with one hand because that autoseal button is so easy to press. Those features are especially important when I'm out and about, and ESPECIALLY around the kids. And finally, the lid has such a cool mechanism. It's one piece, pops open nicely, and so easy to clean #freeproduct

My issue with travel mugs is that I like to throw them into my bag when going to work or going for a day out. What often happens is that the mug leaks. THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE! Not only did it keep my coffee hot for hours (i was drinking it over 4.5 hours) but it did not spill in my bag! I love the sealing ability and the fact that once you click a little button, it won't spill! Having that security really makes this cup the best. I also love the size of this mug as it holds a lot but is also sleek and thin and can fit in my purse or smaller backpack. Overall, this is the best mug ever and I highly recommend it! This is my new favourite mug - so thank you Contigo!!

The ONLY reason I took off 1 star is that stickers don't stay on the marbled texture! I am a sticker fan & this disappoints! Hey Contigo, how about a West Loop 3.0 16 oz in a smooth surface in great colors??

It keeps my coffee hot for a solid 6 hours (yes, even through meetings I didnt ask for), and my water stays ice cold for 12. Ive tossed it in my bag, dropped it a few times (oops), and it still looks and works like new. If youre someone who forgets about their drink until its usually the wrong temperaturethis is your sign.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The autoseal lid makes it completely leak and spill proof, you just press to sip, and then release to seal. It keeps my coffee hot for hours and my iced drinks cold all day thanks to thermalock insulation. Its super easy to use one-handed, has a smart tea bag hook, and the Easy-Clean Lid makes cleanup easy-peasy!! Just remember to hand-wash the stainless steel body. PS; If youre always on the move, this flask is a must-have!!

You have to unlock and press a button to be able to drink from it. Threw it in my bag as a test and didn’t leak. Having to press the button was not too much of a chore for the added protection. Also my coffee in the car for around 5 hours on a cold day and was still warm when I went to drink it! Was pleasantly surprised how well it insulated. Really a well rounded mug!

For all of our roadtrips, vacations and staycations we always use our Contigo travel mugs for all beverage needs. This cup is seriously the best, and it fits into car cup holders which is such a plus! The quality of this cup is superb to other cups I own, and my family still has their first Contigo pieces and it's been well over 20 years.

However, after putting it through various tests, I must say I was left underwhelmed by its performance. During my tests, I compared its heat retention capabilities with older models, and while it did keep my coffee warm, it didn’t maintain the temperature as effectively as I had hoped. I found that it didn’t surpass some of the older models of the same brand. In fact, I wasn’t surprised by the results at all. Overall, while the West Loop isn’t a complete disappointment, it falls short of expectations, especially when compared to older models of the same brand. It’s worth the buy but if you drink coffee over a period of time and want it to stay hot for a prolonged time, this may not be the best option.

I’ve never seen anything like it. Very easy to lock/unlock and open/close. Most mornings I have my coffee on the go. It’s nice having something with a spout closes on it’s on. When he saw that is was 20oz he freaked out because that meant he could bring more coffee to work lol. Needless to say is that he loves his new contigo and is very satisfied as it doesn’t leak and keeps his coffee hot for hours! :)

It will keep my cold drink cold for up to 24 hours and my hot drink hot for up to 11 hours. It seals really well, is easy to use one-handed with the button release, and holds a whopping 24oz but is still slim enough to fit in my car cup holder! Perfect.

It does allow you to keep your hot drinks and cold for a long period of time. The only thing I would change is to have the autoseal and lock on the thermos to be on the front and not in the back to easier access especially for those with smaller hands.

It is easy to press the larger button to take a drink, my 6 year old was able to do it. I have liked using it for coffee and water. It has also washed well in the dishwasher.
