It was stored indoors in its bag for a year and when we went to set it up last Monday, the plastic joints were broken…..broken from being stored for a year???? This canopy is not worth $14….let alone the $140 we paid for it. Wish we had read the reviews!! And there are no replacement parts!!!!

It's still just as perfect at the day I bought it. The frame is very high quality. I once put it away in the rain and forgot to dry it out, for 2 months. I fully expected mold, nope! The canopy material is top knotch

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ajc56 from Less then durable I bought the Coleman 13' x 13' Instant Eaved Shelter at Costco a few months ago as a temporary shelter that I hope would last the summer while working on some projects, After about just 3 months the canape has torn up and I don't see any way to replace it. This is very disappointing.If you need something other then a picnic shelter a couple times a year. you need something else.

It held up very well for the three or four dozen times we had to set it up. We are on our second replacement canopy and our frame system is still in good shape. We need a new canopy and can’t find none online. I suspect will buy another one from another companyThat can provide a replacement canopy.

Instructions weren't very good; my daughter had put one up before and was able to get it up and secured. By end of summer, the top was in shreds. But that wasn't the end of it. We tried to collapse the frame, but one side absolutely will not come down. WD-40's it, too, but it's still standing, naked as a jaybird, but less useful.

Got it on sale for a total of $164 with shipping but still not worth it. Regret it. The only thing I really liked (and was the main reason I purchased it) was that it has a vented top and this eliminated condensation and bugs being trapped at the top. Sadly the top ruins the entire shelter.

I still have 3 of the frames in storage and two others I am using. as long as it is secured properly I have not had one break. I have to only replace the canopy. We like them. We have tried others but the Colman has been the best through the years.

I buy nothing but Coleman products and I am very disappointed. My last tent lasted five years and I decided to buy a bigger one. Can’t even find a canopy replacement anywhere so extra disappointed. I wasn’t expecting this to happen. Can anyone help me????

It was not abused, there were not high winds, and take down and put up were not forced. Didnt even realize it was broken until we went to place it in the bag and a piece of the frame was sticking out. VERY DISAPPOINTED to read that replacement parts are not available.

This is a good product but is no longer supported by the company that made it in regards to replacement of parts. Unfortunately Coleman doesn't make the replacement canopies so you'd have to buy a whole new product. What a waste!

Rated 3 out of 5 by BigWhit from Nice but cover leaks! First sprinkle and leaks. Cover is very light and velcro tabs were torn before we even used them. Looks like poor sewing job. Within a few weeks it has leaks everywhere. Customer service said they would send a replacement cover but 3 months and several emails later and no replacement or even a response! Cant even find where to buy just the cover. Pretty shabby!

Rated 1 out of 5 by po5000 from cover is very cheap i bought 5 of these for a party well for one use they were good but for extended use to keep the dog out of the sun the fabric degrades at an alarming rate and it dose not stand up the half the wind rating and the cover is over half the price so it makes no sense to buy a replacement cover and they did not stand behind their peace of crap always had an excuse .

(One was actually not sewn correctly, so is unusable) but after 1 summer of use (usually 1x per weekend) we have already bought "seam sealer". Previous tents have lasted much longer and I'm disappointed in the quality of the fabric. Like the size of the tent though.

I will want to know if the canvas is available separately. I am writing this review because I see people complaining about this canopy an seem to be that they been using it permanently bases is not to be used like that.

Found a number to call that wasn't a complete number the website doesn't show the replacement part for this product. I'm a happy camper if I was able to replace the over head cover. Not too durable is my thought about the canvas cover.

The leg extensions don’t lock into place so it’s perpetually stuck at half height, and when getting it out for only the second time, one of the linkages that connect the peak of the frame to the edge of the frame completely shattered.

Unfortunately I was not able to return to Amazon because I was past the 30 day return window. Coleman is honoring their 1 year warranty, however this model is not available. So they are sending a different 13x13. Hopefully this one will hold up. Time will tell.

The frame is literally brand new and now I’m expected to just throw it in the landfill, what a shame. I’ll definitely not be buying another canopy from a company that does not make replacement parts.

Just occasionally. all.the replacement parts for frame can be bought on Amazon despite people claiming you cannot.buy them. Great canopy have never had one last so long in my life.

I can still use it, but I don't expect it to last very long. I might be able to find a suitable replacement part, but not sure a replacement part is worth $30. Also, canopy uses cheap plastic parts that I also don't expect to last very long.

To my surprise it has come to tears with a normal wind. The product has one warranty. How do I go about to claim a replacement. To me Coleman is a brand name of quality products. Thank You for your assistance on my request.

Seams parted along color lines, first on one side then all sides. Tried to find a replacement cover but could not find. I have been using Coleman products for 60 years. This was a very bad product for the company.

We use it when camping, for sports, and around the house when we need instant shade. It is heavy and not super easy to set up compared to other ones but is very robust. I think the beefy hardware and frame is what makes it harder to set up. When campingg we use it over the tent at night and when raining for extra rain protection and so we can get better ventilation by leaving the fly off. We set it up at home in our driveway when we are going to be around and hanging out in the yard. We just leave it up for weeks at a time. It has done well through several intense thunderstorms. After all this time the canopy is getting a but thin but still fine - I would just like to be able to get a replacement cover since the frame will likely last forever. We leave it up but otherwise take good care of it. The bag it comes in isn't protective so you have to be careful when folded it it could be damaged.

If you anchor them properly they are very strong. After 5 months or so the tent will rip along the seams due to wear, maybe sun rot? Imo 5 months of constant use is a good deal for the price.

The 2nd time I went to use it for my sons baseball game and it broke! Now it’s just been sitting in the garage collecting dust until I figure out what to do with it. Not very durable and for the $150 we payed for it not very worth it...

The first day we set it up, one of the crossarms broke. Second day, a second crossarm broke, rendering the canopy almost useless. I have contacted Coleman through their contact form, and we'll see what they can do for us.

Removed from bag to set up and 3 of the 4 leg locks literally fell apart. My last Coleman canopy lasted 5 years with significant use. This one is pure junk! Too expensive to consider purchasing another after so little use and not getti g my monies worth.
