Did eventually allow some moisture through but it doesn’t claim to be waterproof. Very good job keeping us mostly dry. Carrying case is super sturdy and has rollers. Long mounting pins held it in the ground nicely during a heavy rain and wind storm where the ground d was very saturated. Would definitely recommend to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CDog from Thunderstorm Approved Used this badboy numerous times for camping at pow wows, at the park and at the beach. Where it really got put to the test was when we went to Gimli beach and a blistering thunderstorm came rolling in every one else ran to there cars and waited tell the storm blew over. But not us we bunkered down lowered the canopy and rode the storm out. It was a pure downpour wind was just blowing hard but canopy stood its ground just make sure you peg the 4 corners down good, SOOOOOOO EASY TO SET UP AND PACK UP. My only gripe is im always out and about and I pack my truck with all the gear and the canopy kinda takes up alot of room for its a long rectangular shape. But thats the sacrifice i will take for the durability and user friendly it is. I bought a 2nd one for when im grilling and im not grilling in the hot scorching sun when im at the park,pow wow or the beach.

I love how easy this is to set up and take down. The amount of shade it provides is amazing and the extra wall of tarp makes it so much more effective at blocking the sun! We will use this so much in the summertime!!

But, first of all it is very easy to transport as it comes with a very cool carrying case with wheels. I have never seen wheels come with a case like this. Makes it easy to take to bbq’s but if you’re soccer fans like us, this is a staple for the tailgate! Especially with the sun sheild! The sun shield is very cool and kind of stylish. 10/10!

The instructions were good and everything you need is included. Once assembled it is very sturdy. I used it during a party when the wind was 40 mph and it stayed in place. The sun shade is nice during the day when it is hot out. This is the perfect easy set up tent for a backyard party.

The shade provided not only reduces the heat and potential sun damage, but also helps make outdoor events more tolerable for the sun sensitive— like me! I can’t get enough of this canopy. The sun wall works great, I'm going to get an extra one for even more privacy. You can back up the hatchback of a Subaru Outback under the canopy to keep your stuff out of the sun while camping. Very easy to put up and bring down.

The extra shade in the back also adds privacy and we really ended up loving that. We have used it for soccer games and 7 people fit easily underneath and protected from the harsh sun. Easy to take down as well, a real joy to own.

The setup is pretty straightforward with the Assembly instructions but we did have to give a little maintenance wipeover at first to keep its protection throughout the time it was up during the weather meanwhile the usability was very straightforward with always access to all sides.

The 10×10 size is perfect for an outdoor outing in the summertime to keep the sun off and relax in a chair with a cool drink. Not to mention hiw easy to pop up the metal poles and the durable canopy! I really like it to keep cool on warm days! I do advise though not to use on really windy days!

We took it to a Fourth of July cookout in upstate New York, and even with some wind, it stayed in one place without any issues. I’m very happy with it and plan on using it again and again. This is a must have for your next outing at the park or beach.

The quality of the materials is awesome and feels like it’s going to last years, where previous brands have withered away. All legs are already together - no need for putting pieces together like IKEA furniture. The only downside is you need to be a little taller to fully extend the canopy upwards. So I had to use a step stool to assist.

The neighbors above has a wide flooring so rain water just pours all into her patio but I think the tent is a little too big haha. Regardless, it’ll be of use in the future I’m sure.

We would appreciate the opportunity to check on your inquiry. Please be advised that Our shelters are not waterproof. They are made of polyester, which is inherently hydrophobic (water-fearing) and coated with a Water Repellent coating to help water run off and not soak in or drip through as much as an uncoated nylon fabric would. But the seams are not taped, so water can easily make its way underneath during a downpour. FYI For 2015 we will tape the seams of the two larger sizes of the dome shelters, but will still not claim them to be waterproof. Without walls, the wind will blow lots of rain inside the shelter.
