Fine until it rips
Fine and sturdy, but like others said happen, after using for a while (I weigh 190) the canvas began to RIP down the side. If you purchase this, lie absolutely stil, do not dit up in it or in and do not concentrate your weight in any one area, even when getting on it.

How to make the cot easier to stretch ends!
This little trick will change the way people rate this cot. Don’t question this just do it .
With the cot loosely assembled take some talc or baby powder and try your best to sprinkle
Inside all sewn portions of material that come in contact with the metal frame. Taking a little time to do this will make all the difference. This makes the Material slide effortlessly without sticking on the frame. This also quiets the noise it makes. Sounds to easy huh But let me tell you it works wonders. Your Welcome

Hinge Rivet Broke Off
Hinge rivet broke off after 1st time used. Not sure if there's a repair solution. It's a shame because the cot is comfortable, but it should not have broken after 1st time used. Also, I'm well under the weight capacity and did not abuse the product.

Failed after 1 night
The fabric another the seam ripped after 1 night. I'm under the 300lbs limit. Also the seam on the other side is starting to go. It's cheap nylon fabric. Now I'm going to have to pay for new fabric probably canvas. Only pro is the frame is sturdy

Great price and quality product
Bought two of these. Super comfortable. The only downfall is crossbar at the end is hard to get in place, but if two 10 year old Girl Scouts could put one together my coleader and I were definitely going to get ours together.

Perfect! Better than an inflatable airbed!
Perfect! I opened it up and assembled it myself! It was easy to do! Feels very sturdy and perfect for my camping trips. No more airbeds and waking up during middle of night to add air. If you want something soft, then this is not for you but the material that is made up of, feels so good on my back. I feel support & keeps my back straight. My nephew has one and I tried his before buying one and I just love it. It folds and fits perfect in the bag it comes with. It doesn’t feel cheap & flimsy.

Very hard to set-up . Seriously . The tension is very tight and I can not see a single woman being able to have the strength. I am strong male and it was a bear to set up . Then in great !

Trailhead II Cot
Cot was easy to set up, just heavier and bulky to pack. I was hoping to get a wood frame cot, but could not find one. But it was comfortable which was good for my 71 year-old back.

Works well
This is a really nice cot wide enough for a large person to sleep comfortably. The metal frame is heavy duty and sturdy. It is super heavy and not for backpacking, it's for car camping where you won't mind the weight. It was fairly easy to set up but requires a decent amount of muscle strength. When setting up the cot, first make sure the fabric is centered on the side rails because it can shift. Then, after securing the first bar, stand the cot up on end with the second bar through the sleeve and connected to one peg. Then, hold the second bar down with your shoe and use the cot's leverage to get the second peg locked in. However it was a bit scary stretching the fabric tight. I felt like I might wedge my hand into the frame. I do wish they had a special wedging tool (think, long screwdriver, or crowbar) to get the last cross member in place. Like all stretched cots, it is not the most comfortable. I would suggest placing the Coleman inflatable pad on top of the cot. It folds up really nicely, and the carry-bag is great to make sure you don't lose any of the cross members. All in all it’s a great product.

Not a quality cot
We purchased two cots for my boys who are under 13. one cot ripped at the stitching. I couldn’t believe it. It’s literally not quality material.

Great buy
I have been camping for years and purchasing this cot has been life changing. I use to use an air mattress but by morning it would always be deflated and i would be sleeping on the floor with my back aching. Since I purchased this cot My nights are easier and I sleep better. They are also good when my nephew stays over so he can have a place to sleep since we dont have a guest room! Its been used soooooo many times and the price was super cheap less then 40 bucks

Practical
I received this cot from Coleman and Influenster for testing purposes and my honest review. The cot took 11 minutes to assemble, and the most difficult part was exuding the end corners. I like how large/tall the cot is and how simple it is to assemble and unassemble for when it does not need to be in use. While I did not find it comfortable, it does serve its purpose. Time will tell how durable the cot is but so far it seems good. I would recommend it to others.

It Looks Like a Good Cot
I chose this cot because of its size. It was impossible to attach the stretcher bars at the ends. I had to use a piece of 2"X2"X18" pine as a pry bar and it snapped together. One of the seam was missing stitching for about 6 inches (miss-sewn at the factory). The draw string on the carry bag was sewn to the pocket around the end of the bag so it would not cinch! Could not collapse the cot using the longer portion of the square end bar. Had to use the wood stick.

IMPOSSIBLE TO ASSEMBLE
The cot has a bar on either end that has to be inserted through the fabric and then attached to the frame. After the first bar is installed, it's impossible to install the second bar because the fabric is too tight. No matter how hard you pull, it doesn't stretch far enough to get the second bar in place. Coleman honored their warranty, but the replacement they sent had the exact same problem. I gave up and will not get another one.

Made well and easy setup
I can't say enough good things about the high quality of Coleman products. Every item that I've purchased has been made to the highest standards and seems to be made to last. This cot is very nice, made well and is durable. But, it's just not very comfortable at all. The only way I could get any sleep at all, was to lay flat on my back and look at the stars. Very nice view but I wish there was a way to make it more comfortable.

Study cot-slept like a rock
This is one of the comfiest cots I have ever used before. It’s also extremely sturdy. Coleman products have been used for decades in my household and they’ve never served us wrong. It was very easy and straight forward to assemble. The fabric of the cot is stretched very tight but then it will allow for a pretty decent night sleep where you won’t be sagging m. I like how firm the cot kept throughout the whole night.

Trailhead II
Great comfortable cot for camping. Mine was about two years old and used exactly for 8 nights and the product failed. And as i see in the reviews, most do. You gotta do better Coleman. Can I order a new fabric for this cot? Metal frame is good. I just need to replace the fabric portion of this unit. At this time I cannot recommend this product unless customer support comes through with replacement parts....

Awesome Sturdy Cot
This is a great cot, very sturdy and well made. We have used it a handful of time and have had a great experience with it. The end bar can be tough to get into place but if you push against the leg with your foot and pull the bar in the opposite direction it's not too hard. Additionally, because the bar is tough to get in it keeps the canvas tight so it doesn't sag when using it. Ultimately, this is a great cot.

Product is bad and extremely difficult to return!
I purchased 2 of these online from Coleman. I could not get either of them put together…clicking the last crossbar into place. I have been having a difficult time returning them! I finally got return label printed on them, it says to ship tge pkg with you carrier of choice. I went to fedex. They said that I would have to par for the shipping which was $143.00. I declined. I’m still trying to return them.

Tight but poor quality.
I bought two of these to make camping a bit more comfortable. We set up the first cot with a little bit of struggle but it was worth it for the firm result. The second cot came damaged and I could not put the bar at the foot of the cot on. Since the cot is riveted together I cannot fix it so the foot bar.
I am disappointed that the plastic cap couldn't tolerate being shipped in the original packacking.

Trailhead II Cot issues w/cross beams
I have used Coleman brand outdoor products for decades. Iconic items like camp stoves, lanterns, tents and small items have always been top notch. I bought, and have returned to the retailer, a Coleman Trailhead II Cot. As I noticed from reading other reviews after trying to put the cot together, which should have quite simple; I realized that the holes on the cross beams do not match therefore the cot simply ot fit together. This could be while other reviewers have had their cots tear at the seams from forcing the crossbeams onto the frame. With years of experience putting together military cots, I was initally perplexed by the fact that crossbeams simply did not fit onto the frame. But again lying the crossbeams side by side showed the issue. Maybe Coleman's engineers and leadership team should check into this? AND please do not send me a form email or any email response..just address the issue.

Affordable and met our needs
Purchased in December 2018 - received ahead of schedule, was affordably priced and as comfortable as you would expect a cot to be. I (40 year old female), and my 13 year old son, could not put the cot together (not strong enough to pull the end bars down over the latch), but my husband was able to do so. Hopefully it will get easier to do over time after we use the cots a few more times.

Sturdy and Big
Honestly I was not expecting the size! Once you get it set up, it’s really sturdy and comfortable, the more you lay in it the more it kind of stretches and has a little bit more to give to it. I would totally take this car camping or even use it as a bench with multiple people! I live in a city so haven’t had a chance to set it up on a camping trip yet but when I do, I will add photos!!

Simple trick to extend functionality
This was for a temporary solution to an extra guest and has remained a functional substitute. After being unable to stretch the fabric enough to reach its intended slot, we improvised. We placed one bar on the designated holes while putting the opposite pole underneath its suggested position. Worked..continues to work.. and continues to be a wonderful addition to our evening amenities.

Sturdy and easy to set up, but a bit firm since i
This camping cot is sturdy and very easy to set up. It provides good support and feels stable when you lie down. The size is great and it’s convenient for camping or having an extra sleeping space. The only thing to note is that it’s a little firm since it’s not padded, so you may want to add a sleeping pad or blanket for extra comfort. Overall, it’s a solid and practical option.

Unusable
Unfortunately, I was unable to even complete the setup of this cot. Due to the fabric being cut and sewn too small, the assembly was unable to happen. We even tried the strength of three people to try and get this thing together, but were unsuccessful. I saw another review with this same issue. Pulling the end bars into place was impossible. I had to send it back due to this.
