Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would have liked to give it 5 stars We like this product and enjoy it camping, the problem is that it is impossible to get replacement parts so we can continue to use it... As several have mentioned it is hard to get the end crossbars in place, over the weekend one of the small plastic bits the crossbar fits into broke. We contacted the customer chat online at Coleman and were told there are no replacement parts for this product. The canvas and metal parts are all in great working order, but the plastic bits that have broken off are an issue in its continued comfortable use. Either make all the pieces more durable or offer replacement pieces, I don't mind paying for replacement bits at a reasonable price, but its better than every time I use the cot to have a bad taste in my mouth because it can not be used properly any longer. So I am left to find a work around and the feeling that Coleman would rather I buy a new one than to fix the one I currently own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy, reliable, and convenient! This for is brilliant! I keep one rolled up in my closet for when visitors come to town. While I would not put a guest on it, it’s comfy enough for me to sleep on while my guests enjoy my bed! I find it much more reliable than a blow up, it folds into a cool little tote, fits in my trunk or under the couch. I set it up on the porch for my cat to sleep on. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good cot. Works as expected. I bought it while it was on sale, good value for the sale price. Using for tent camping. The size is just right. A little heavy, but sturdy and easy to set up, once you know how. You do have to set the unit on its end and hold it down with your foot while pulling the other end bar into place with your hand. I'm using an air pad on top of it for cushioning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far Received recently and used once at time of review. So far so good. Out of the box it it is as advertised. I like the width a lot, makes it more comfortable. It is "challenging" (takes some strength) to get the 2nd crossbar in place. Perhaps over time that will decrease if the material stretches some. Should it hold up over time I feel it is a very good value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing parts- no working customer service I will give more than a one star when I get the parts I paid for. Originally bought two, one came without either end bar. I can't use the one cot with missing parts. I guess I'll inspect ever coleman product I purchase before it leaves the store And the help chat didn't work. I wasn't connected to an agent. Just me being able to type but no response.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't Fit This cot doesn't stretch far enough to latch both bars in. There's a massive margin of error. I have to step on it to barely get it in, even then it doesnt go all the way. How do you expect your customers to be able to get this on? This isn't something like barely fits, like it isn't even close to latching on. Especially if you're an older person.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Affordable but impossible to fully assemble Not an expensive cot, but after three camping trips, we have yet to be able to get it fully assembled. It is not possible to stretch the canvas far enough to get the last corner attached. I am 6 foot 4 and 300 pounds of former college football player. If I can’t do it, no one can. Too late to return it for a refund. Not happy with this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Comfortable I’ll preface my review by admitting I’m a floor sleeper so I generally prefer stiffer surfaces. I appreciate that this cot wasn’t fold out camping chair style and had structure. Only issue I had was semi-hard set up, this takes a bit of elbow grease and I’d recommend being mindful when dismantling the frame so the pieces don’t pinch your skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable easy to assemble I got this because we go camping a lot. At first I didn’t think it would be comfortable to sleep on. But I was wrong! It is very comfortable. I also plan on using this cot for my grandson when he comes to visit for a nap. The only thing I would say it is kinda heavy. But it does come with a bag and is easy to fold up. Very sturdy as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable cot Super durable above the ground cot, not that comfy, but light and you have your bed while camping, I prefer cot instead mattress because it’s stabile and easy to fold up when you are done resting, it takes less then 2 min and you have lots of space in the tent or camper, affordable and you definitely getting great product, recommend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Choice Yet Hard to Put Together This Coleman Trailhead II Camping Cot is sturdy and comfortable option for using to sleep or keeping outside on your balcony (which is what I did). Its durable steel frame provides reliable support. The folding design makes it portable. Overall, a solid choice for portable cot. Four stars because putting it together was tough.

I like that it is heavy-duty and can take a person of any size. You can sleep comfortably on this cot with any sleeping bag. It is very easy to setup with no problem. I would highly recommend this product.

It's gonna make put future camping trips much more comfortable for her. Can't wait for next camping season. It's also pretty light weight. SIDE NOTE SORRY NO PHOTO HAVING TROUBLE UPLOADING.

I used to use an air mattress in my tent, but it was always a hassle to inflate it and it normally needed reinflated multiple times during the trip, not to mention not much support. Then I bought this cot, it's a perfect solution to my previous problems. Solid and well made and plenty of room even for us bigger guys.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not durable, no replacement parts worked well for three caping trips but now the fabric has ripped and no replacement parts are available. so tired of throwing things away. responses from customer service about this issue seem to be that they are just taking this feedback but no resolution. will not recommend this product due to these factors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a good deal I bought this for our tent over the summer for my son to sleep on. He wasn’t a huge fan of it and ended up sleeping on our mattress instead. It did come in handy however when the tent flooded and we sat our stuff on it. So I’d say the comfort level isn’t there but the portability and stability is for sure.

I not only use it for camping but I love taking it to the beach because after I rinse off I don’t want to sit on the sheets and possible get sand all over me again. I honestly keep it in my trunk because I’m always hiking or at the beach lol

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cots We have a few of these cots, and they are nice quality and have listed several years. We also use them when traveling (other than camping) for some of the kids. Downsides are that they are a bit heavy, the end bars are hard to connect, and they can stretch/tear the bottom of your tents so be careful.

Hopefully not necessary every time hereafter, so giving 4 stars but could increase or decrease depending on that answer yet TBD.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Found it comfortable and sturdy I love this cot. It is a little tough at first to get the bar in place but eventually it is easy but still a little stiff so its not too lose. Only down side is that I noticed a foot cover fell off and I didn't realize that. I had to replace it which finding a replacement foot cover was difficult.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super sturdy I really like using this Coleman cot. It was easy to set up and use. And while not in use it can become compact and slide back into the carrying case. For a cot, it is pretty comfortable. I have a huge backyard so i use it here also besides camping. Overall, it is a high quality that is durable.

It is much better on our backs than using an air mattress, and we do not have to worry about the household blowing them up. I don’t have anything negative to say. They are a little heavy, but not too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for not sleeping on ground At first, I didn’t know what to expect but the folding steel frame is so durable and the extra wide style provides ample room for sleeping. This also holds up to 300 pounds. I will say we use this multiple times and it’s still very strong and the fabric never stretched. It stayed strong.

It is considerably light, easy to carry and great for overnight hunting or camping trips. Very durable, feels sturdy and has withstood the test of time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cot setup I's older and have arthritis in my hands. Getting the second end pole in is a nightmare. I gave up the first time I tried and waited a couple of days. I was able to get it in the second time, but it was VERY hard. I don't need it for a couple more weeks so I'll set up a few more times.

It’s sturdy & comfy. Only issue is there seems to be a strain in the stitching & I’m concerned it’ll come apart in the future. Holding for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product. Easy Setup A little bigger than I thought but not an issue for me. Initial setup will require centering of the fabric between the two ends for the bars. These bars are a TIGHT fit. Leave assembled for a day or two will make it easier to setup every time afterwards. Very comfortable!

Easy to set up and break down and with the military style end rails, it maintains tension on the canvas so you are less apt to wake up sleeping in a "half pipe" by morning. If you have a bad back, you need that tension to prevent pain in the morning.

The weight limit is 300 pounds which is great!! The cot is so comfortable to use and better than sleeping on the floor or and air mattress.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it I do like this cot. I found it very difficult to get both end bars on though. My husband and I both tried several times to get the end bars secured and failed. Maybe there is a secret to it. I think it’ll be just fine though with only the head bar on and secure.
