Good canopy with limitations
Good: Lots of room, set up is easy enough. Good quality travel bag.
Bad: It sucks in the rain. It's not designed for rain. Rain will gather in a big pool on the roof. It looks like it will just flow off, but it does not. No good for rain. Also, with it being so big, it is susceptible to wind. Get sandbags or stake it to the ground.
I'm trying to find bug screens or sun screens that fit, but these are hard to find. If you want those, you may do better with a 10x10. Seems to be more selection for those with that size canopy.
Also, after 2 years, one of the corner pins broke, so I drilled a hole and shove a stake in.

Makes family summertime even more fun!!
We use our canopy everywhere!! We've taken it to the park for a family cookout, it was great for providing shade away from the BBQ grills and gave the mom's a place to relax.
It was very easy to build, less then 10 minutes with 2 people.
At the beach, we connected a sheet to the side and it made the perfect windbreak/sand stop from the breeze.
The shelter connects on to our family tent and gives a dry place to drop gear or kick off shoes. We have even used it on the side of our VW Bus.
It's versatile, well worth the funds and takes up very little space, which is great when your packing for 5 and 2 large dogs!!
Bring on summer, with Coleman, we are ready.

Good for sun -TERRIBLE in rain
Bought this canopy the fall before Covid hit. Never used it last year, but used it once this summer for a week long camping trip in Vermont. It was easy to set up, looked nice and provided great shade. However it rained overnight the second night we used it it and all the rain collected along the edges and collapsed the canopy bending a few of the rails. This should not have happened!!! Now I am stuck with a canopy that I cannot use. This is terrible design - the rain should just run off the top and not collect along the edges and cause a collapse. Coleman is a great name and this is unacceptable from this company.

I think we are on year 4 with our 2 canopies. We have the large and the medium. Still work like they are brand new. Survived beach winds without a rip. With the other family canopies (2 more) we were able to set up a beach condo camp this summer, so we could socially distance! We made a U shape providing shade all day long, with one canopy designated for coolers only.

Plastic Joints Failed
First off, we love this canopy. It does everything we need. However, the plastic joints connecting the center supports have begun to break. Currently, it’s literally being held together with duct tape and string. I wish Coleman would replace them with a metal plate instead.

OUTSTANDING CANOPY !!!
Nice design on the button click stops.
Excellent how the canopy corners taper down have a straps that attach to the poles and can be tightened. This way there is no sag and water cannot collect, and I know this for a fact because I’ve been through too heavy rain storms with this and it performed excellent!

Great for shade terrible in rain
I borrowed from a very good friend of mine this summer for daughter's graduation party and it worked very good for shading during the day. Over night had a moderate rain fall woke up to this canopy holding water just like many other reviews on here and the frame buckled in many places. Now this was one of 6 canopy's I had set up for this party and by far this was the most expensive one at time of purchase of any of them, but the only one that buckled under the conditions over night. Coleman used to be a good name for camping equipment but I would never recommend this product in canopy purchases after seeing this. Now I have to purchase a new canopy to replace for my friend and he & I agree it won't be Coleman.

Not durable when compared to older canopy.
I had this model previously. It was gray and sturdy. It lasted close to 20 years before the supports started to break. Decided it was time for a new canopy and stuck with the same brand and size since I had been happy with my older canopy. This version seems subpar to my previous canopy. It sags while up and collects water where the previous model did not do either. Because it collects water, it collapsed after the second use while receiving rain when camping. The previous version did not have any issues with rain or collapse. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
