Rated 4 out of 5 by Ben66 from Great tent but... I first used this tent in the Adirondacks with mixed weather conditions. The main room of the tent stayed dry in steady rain and fog. The screen porch area could be really nice and could have multiple uses only if the was fly was removable and big enough to cover it (I used a tarp.) Without the tarp, the rain would collect and “puddle” on the screen area floor. With the temps into the low 40’s, my buddy heater did a great job keeping the tent warm with plenty of ventilation. I was also surprised how well it held up to wind. Overall this tent is great and very comfortable and I can deal with taking a tarp for not so nice weather to use for the screen room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JAKEmn31! from This tent should be more expensive We took this tent to the UP of Michigan. We had some pretty bad weather. The temp at night dropped to 39°F. We had 4 people in the tent and stayed plenty warm. It also rained, and there were high winds. The tent remained dry inside, and I was never worried about the tent collapsing or blowing away in the wind. We didn't even have the tie downs staked up, which would have made it a lot stronger. Definitely didnt need it. Buy this tent. Its a great tent. The screened area will get wet. But thats okay because there is a nice mesh drain in the floor by the entrance. If that bothers you a lot, get the dome tent without the screen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Laff from Nice tent with one exception... I bought this tent to go camping with my four-year-old grandson to Myrtle Beach. I only had a queen size mattress which had to be centered in the main part of a tent. Due to the angle of the side walls, it was hard to get around the mattress. I have recently bought two single cots to use against the side walls. This allows more room to move about the main cabin. I was rather disappointed find that Coleman, being the tent manufacturer they are, neglected to put a pass-through for an electric cord. I guess it must be time to go solar. We did not get caught in any rain, so far, but thanks to everyone for the warning, I'll be sure to take a tarp with me next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by J. Raymer from Held up to .75 inch of Rain in 30 minutes Bought this for my family of 4. Fits two single self inflatable mattresses and well as a queen inflatable with some room for storage. Well ventilated, and while it can be put up with one person, two make it so much more easy. We've spent a total of 4 three day stays in it. So far it's holding up just fine. We camped in the Okefenokee in GA, and ended up getting .75 inch of rain in a little over an hour. It really came down. Inside stayed bone dry. Don't let the covered canopy fool you. While it keeps the bugs up and provides a nice place to sit, it offers no real rain protection (to be fair its not advertised that it does.) Perfect starter tent for a family. We love ours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jasmine from option needed I have only one con about this tent. I would love to have an option of getting a rain fly for the screened area section. If it rains you cannot use this area to store anything due to raining in and puddling on the floor. We have otherwise enjoyed this tent and have used it for over 6 yrs now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Don N from Great Protection! On one camping trip last year, we had one day when it poured rain all day. The only place where we had a few drops of water was where we had hung a power cord on the side of the tent. The next day, we had continuous 25-35MPH wind. While the tent moved constantly, it stayed fixed and secure. The vestibule is the perfect place to keep wet and dirty items although it did turn into a bit of a lake during the rain storm. We're very happy with this tent!

Tent has only been used in nice weather; cleaned and properly stored after each use. I tried going through customer service but since it was less than 3 months out of warranty they refused to do anything aboutthe defective pole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by @duc22 from Screened front porch very practical I’ve used this in Sequoia National Park, Lake Arrowhead, and in the San Diego Area multiple times. 2 people and 1 large dog. I’m 5’10 and can stand in the center. Plenty of room for a queen mattress, bedside table large dog and lots of extra room for clothes and gear. We especially like the screened porch where we fit 2 Tommy Bahamas (Costco) beach chairs to lounge in without worrying about bugs, we also use it to keep boots/shoes etc. outside of the main tent area.
