The straw is wider than most, so it’s easy to clean. It feels like I’m drinking out of a child’s sippy cup because of the soft mouth piece. I like how the lid interchanges with all my other Contigo bottles. When held upside down, water runs out of it. Handle is nice feature.

I have over 3 dozen bottles of all brands and sizes and this is my go to! It keeps everything so cold or hot all day long. Sometimes ill put something hot in it at 7 am and forget and go to drink it around noon or later and its still burning hot.

I love it I recommend it.

Very durable Sleek design the only one problem that I have is trying to keep the mouthpiece clean all the time and the piece that connects underneath the lid it's hard to clean to you have to get a small little brush or a pipe cleaner in order to keep it clean other than that I love it

He has always been comfortable with the mouthpiece on contigo straw cups so I was delighted to find that they put out a stainless steel bottle. I will admit that I did think that the water would be kept colder after a couple house. I actually expected ice cubes to remain somewhat whole within 2 hours of adding it to cold water and taking the bottle on the road, but that was not the case. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations! I do like the thinner base that allows the bottle to sit nicely in my car's cupholder. The bottle I was using before had a bigger base and always fell and rolled around my car making it difficult to access when I needed a drink! The one ting that is weird is that when the bottle is almost empty, when using the straw, the bottle gives off a somewhat annoying whistle, which as you can imagine, is even more annoying in the middle of the night when I am trying to stay quiet! It's annoying, but not a deal breaker!

The are always losing them. Now since this gets put in a backpack and tossed all around it is very important that it does not leak which it did great. No wet paperwork or anything in their bags. They are easy to use & carry and are very durable. I might have dropped my contigo bottles more than 100 times now but it still didnt break. I like that my bottle keeps the water cold. Even went as far as YouTubing ways to put it back together and had my husband take apart the whole lid! It’s useless now and will be searching for another one similar but that has the ability to be cleaned without destroying the lid!

This has prevented quite a few messes as well as the spout getting dirty. The bottle does not leak and even has a cool handle. I use this as my exercise water bottle as it is light weight and has a great feel for my hand.

I had it sitting on top of my car and a burst of wond sent it tumbling to the ground. The straw was closed, but part of the plastic interior mechanism broke and the the bottle is now useless. The warranty does not cover drops and there are no replacement lids for purchase.

It is such a shame that Contigo will continue to sell such poor quality products and charge more than ever. We have always loved Contigo and they have been our go to cup brand for sports, school, and everyday life- these new cups we just bought have had 2 of the 3 break with in 8 weeks of use.

Well used bottle, and I don't expect parts to last forever, but the spout tore near where the straw inserts and now leaks and you cannot suck up water. Sure there are other lid types that could fit, but I really like the features of the autospout. Would be willing to buy if they were available!

My other water bottles claimed to do that, but none of them have been able to keep my ice water as ice cold as this water bottle has during this heat wave. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the most important things for me in a water bottle is whether it's going to get my stuff all wet or not. When I fill my bottle I'm usually leaving the house with a dozen things in my hand and the probability that I'm going to spill my beverage is relatively high. This doesn't leak if turned fully upside down. I've used this brand for a number of years for our travel coffee cups. They seem to really be into innovation. The 'autospout' button and locking mechanism is pretty slick. One push of the button releases the mouthpiece from the cap. Sometimes it flicks a bit of your drink on you which can be avoided once you know it's going to happen. It keeps the mouthpiece covered until you're ready to drink from it, which is great and hygienic. I appreciate that the bottle is marked dishwasher safe as well. Things that can't go into the dishwasher to be cleaned don't last long in my house.

I’ve had it about 6 months but I’m noticing it is collecting black mold in the spout that is hard to clean. How do you recommend I clean it? Is the lid dishwasher safe or only the bottle? I’ve decided not to use it until I can thoroughly clean or get a replacement spout/lid, any suggestions?

It is very easy to clean by just putting it in the dishwasher. I like the carry handle on top of the bottle and that it fits easily into my backpack pockets. Great for taking water on-the-go.

When you close the spout it has a little lever to lock it that is small but easy to access and use. I haven't noticed any leaking from the bottle. I work in a warehouse and it's hot, this bottle has kept my water cold until I fill it again.

But sadly it filters (drips from the lid) when you put it inside the backpack and the heavy lid turns the bottle down. We bought two and this started happening only after a couple of weeks of using it, I belive the is a design flaw in the part that gets pressed when you close the straw tip.

The first one lasted 18 months, was used 24/7 and was dropped at least 5-10 times a day! We were so amazed how study it was, how it kept drinks ice cold and how easy it was to use with the push-button spout release. Excellent design!!
