There was plenty of room inside for all of my gear. This tent was about perfect for the trip. A lighter and more expensive backpacker's tent would have been much more expensive, but not really more functional.

Worked super well! Tent went up in less than 10 minutes, and take down was about the same. Pretty straight forward set up instructions as a very new camper and a very rusty camper! It rained both nights we were out on our trip, night one was fairly light, the rain fly kept things pretty dry. Second night we had some severe storms that sounded like they would rip the tent to shreds, but she held firm! Only a few drops got into the tent, otherwise nice and dry!

After reading the assembly manual that came with it, it was so easy to set up that I could do it myself. The tent is spacious inside, with enough room for myself and my essentials while still having enough room to move around, which I was very excited about. The tent material is thick and feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence that it will withstand a variety of weather conditions. I like the tent so much that I am already planning my next camping trip. This is a reliable and spacious tent, I highly recommend the Coleman Sundome

Tent holds up well to frequent us I have owned two of these tents, one of which was a much older model that lasted me about 12 years (with frequent use!) before I finally bought a replacement. The only issues I had with the original were the usual wear and tear, and the only reason I bought a new model was because one of the lower corners in the tarp finally tore and was leaking when it rained. That being said, having held up for 12 years, I can't complain! I bought this model about a year ago and the only issue I've had thus far is that when placing the tent poles through the sleeves on the top of the tent, the rounded metal end of the pole cut against the thin fabric and created a couple of holes in it. This happened during one of my very first uses of the tent, so it wasn't due to overuse. The fabric is just thin and you have to be careful putting in the poles. Otherwise I've had no issues, even with frequent use. As a side note, I live in Washington and frequently camp when it's raining, and have had no issues with leaks. If you're in the market for a 3 person tent, this one is good for the asking price.

It had enough room that we didn't feel crowded and was just right. I liked how it was easy to put together. It would most definitely be a tent I would recommend to others if they were going on a camping adventure. The only thing I would have like to have known is if there was more pockets on the inside or compartments to store small items like jewelry or phones or things of that nature. It all in all was a very nice tent. Good job to the Coleman crew for coming up with yet another great camping tent.

Assembling and taking apart is easy. It's spacious inside and makes camping more comfortable. The price is fair considering how long it takes will last with good care. I recommend for campers. I've used it so many times and NEVER had any issues with it at all. It's well made has lots of room and stays dry as a desert inside during heavy rainfall. I'm not sure why people might have issues with the poles. Remember, It's not brick and mortar, it's a tent. Don't be rough with it when setting it up or packing it away. Mine has lasted many years so far, and it's still going strong.

In my old tent I had to zip an extension cord from the door to my generator. But this has a small easy access opening to feed a cord through. There are two windows plus a vent at the bottom to create air flow. But I wouldn’t leave that open while it’s raining. Speaking of another feature I love are the awnings being able to keep the windows cracked while it rains. You do feel the cold snow covered ground still but never notice the mud. I wasn’t sure because of the price. But great choice worth every cent.

My young daughter can out it up. It’s water resistant and so easy to put away fast. We can roll up and store with all our things and take anywhere for quick get aways. Just for the two of us. It doesn’t really fit more than 2 of us even though it says 3 because we like to have room for like our pillows. And there is a cool hook up top to hang the rechargeable lantern and also a net for the iPad to watch shows and also the nets for things and you can take the top next off for full vent when it’s not raining it’s very cool little tent very affordable we like it alot. We like anything Coleman!

If you are a tall person thinking you should fit in this, think again. I am apparently stuck with this tent, since the customer service line is answered by voicemail but nothing happens after that.

I like the colors, material is good, waterproof which is a plus, with a rainfly/wind blocker as well if ever needed. If you are an old-schooler for tent assembly, then you definitely will have no problem putting this together, even for those new to the game, it's all relatively straightforward, and the bag is wonderful, there's a tear strip which gives you more room to put it all back in when you are done, eliminating the old frustrations we used to have with putting tents away

Never really rained on any trips until this weekend, April 26-28, 2024. The tent leaks. Have to cut the trip short since our sleeping bags are wet. It happens. 1 star because the web site won't let me add photos.

As my kids grew old enough to go camping, I passed it down to them because of its easy setup. Recently, I decided to get each of them their own. This unassuming tent has weathered the seasons of the Bay Area without letting water in, even during heavy rainstorms – a testament to its durability, although I do reapply waterproofing every few years. I recall applying seam sealer once or twice. It's covered in stains from years of leaves, sap, and pine needles, occasionally staying wet in the bag for a week, but I see it as a sort of weathered patina. The tent's floor and canvas have never torn, and it even retains a decent smell inside. All of this for just $80

It’s really tough and sets up quick. Packs away small and light too. When the twins are a bit bigger I’m going to be purchasing another Sundome to replace the tent I’m using for them as the functionality and quality just isn't’ Colemans’

Rated 5 out of 5 by nhin6 from Easy to set up The bag in which the tent and it’s related rods or pins come, is nicely packed inside. Instruction manual is stitched with the bag so it was helpful in windy weather not to worry about it being flown away. The tent was big enough for a family of three and a dog and had ample space left for keeping something overnight inside that we didn’t want to left it in open. Installation as well as dismantling was really easy. It comes with small foot mat sort of thing. The flooring is already stitched in it in case someone is worried about keeping extra tarp. Extra tarp is not needed with it. The windows are given that can be opened or closed and few pouches stitched inside to keep your bottle or something in it. Overall, it was a good experience in camping using this tent.

I honestly like it so much because till now it’s like brand new the quality is extremely good. And enough for like 4-5. Small Children with 2 adults to sleep inside. It is easy to fix and keep it on a camping spot that was reserved for you. And the best part was that it could sustain heavy rains without it being damaged. If you are going for camping for the first time I would surely recommend you to purchase this particular tent.
