Affordable and mobile
Handle detached from cooler with 12@12oz cans and a bag of ice and some food. Weight was not the issue, the temperature outside was 26 degrees and the plastic handle was unable to handle the cold. Cooler was being rolled when the plastic handle snapped on one side. The plastic also snapped were the handle attaches inside the handle mount on the cooler. The product was not engineered to withstand the cold, plastic froze and cracked. The last Coleman cooler my dad purchased and gave to me, that cooler lasted 50 plus years of camping, fishing and parties.
I'm still have my dad's Colman lantern and stove from the 60's and they work fine.
A cooler under normal conditions of wear and tear should last a minimum of 10 years plus. This cooler quality is poor at best.
Please send a check for reimbursement for a crappy product.

This cooler will not last long. The lid will bend over the course of period. I informed to Coleman customer care but they declined replacement though it is in warranty period.

Not as advertised
The cooler is poorly made. The lid doesn't seal well and it might keep ice for half a day, not up to 5 days as advertised. Wheels wobble right out the box so I am not sure how long they will last

Keeps ice for 5 days? Maybe 5 hours
Terrible purchase. Used it for the first time yesterday. Yes it was hot (mid 80s) and humid. Ice didn’t last more than a few hours. Checked it this morning and the melted ice wasn’t even cool.
I don’t know what “full insulation” is but it seems to be insulated with air

Lid came off
I got this cooler for a 4 day outdoor event to store samples in. Started using it on a Thurs and by Sat thescrews for the lid had fallen out.

Replacement
This was my first time purchasing from the Coleman brand and I must say that the Coleman brand won me over. There was an issue with my original item, nothing major, but I contacted Coleman to tell of the issue. What a pleasant surprise. After presenting proof of purchase and other information, Coleman graciously sent me a replacement. Great customer service will win me over every time and I will say that this warmed my heart, especially since I made the purchase due to heartbreak and sentimental reasons that I am currently experiencing. Thank you Coleman, you made my day.

Best value in coolers!
This cooler does everything I could ever want at a fraction of the cost of other coolers. The size is just right for a small group or weekend trip, build quality is good, multiple handles are nicely arranged, the wheels make it super easy to transport and the drain is perfectly placed. Ice was frozen solid throughout a full 82F day into the following evening. 5 days? Probably not, but how many people actually need ice for 5 days?! Even if you’re camping so far from ice replenishments, you’re doing something wrong if you’re dragging a cooler out there. Buy this and be happy for eternity!

Hinge problem
Did homework before buying cooler but should’ve payed attention to the hinge issue reviews. When hinges are working properly this is a very good cooler. Unfortunately for me, two days into a road trip where the cooler stayed in my vehicle for the whole time the top screws on one of the hinges came unscrewed fully. The screws are metal and it is screwing into a part of the lid that has thin plastic. It’s a shame that a descent cooler like this one will get a bad review because of lazy engineering.
