Gladiator™ Series FyreKnight™ Propane Stove
No matter how rugged it gets, you can still serve up a family feast in no time with the Coleman® Gladiator Series™ FyreKnight™ Propane Stove. Each 12,000-BTU burner utilizes our revolutionary HyperFlame® technology, which provides an even heat distribution across the pan and better wind resistance to cut boiling time in half when compared to a standard burner in 3 m/sec wind. Wind Block™ pan supports also provide 360° of wind protection and eliminate the need for side panels so you can use up to two 12-in. pans at the same time. If you're looking for more meal options, the Swaptop™ interchangeable cooktops let you change out the pan supports with a grill grate or griddle (both sold separately). When you’re ready to cook, just hit the Instastart™ push-button ignition and dial in your heat with the two independently adjustable burners. The PerfectFlow™ pressure control technology produces a steady fuel stream and consistent burner performance in all kinds of weather. When you’re done cooking, the pivoting 3-piece handle, heavy-duty lid latch and shock-absorbing bumpers make for easy carrying back home, even over tough terrain, until you're ready to create your next camping culinary masterpiece.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hungry from No low heat setting I’m always used Coleman stoves for my camping trips since my parents took me camping. I purchase this stove to replace another one that way damaged. The stove cooks way too HOT and when you try to turn down the burner, it won’t stay at the level and usually will turn off or move back to high. For the price you would assume that the designers would of tested this stove at different cooking levels. Completely useless if your trying to cook at a lower heat level, wish that I still had my old stove, very disappointed in this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jester from Great Stove This is a fantastic stove. Yes it gets hot but you have to use cast iron on it. I use this stove for making coffee and cooking breakfast on a cast iron skillet which spreads out the heat. I have never overcooked anything on this. 1 can of fuel lasted 3 days. The Large Stove Carry Case will hold this; it is part number 2000020971....if you use any cookware that is aluminum or pot metal you will hate this....use cast iron and you won't go wrong.

Rated 3 out of 5 by UncleFjester from No Low Heat Issue resolved and FIXED forever! I have used many Coleman Propane stoves, and they all have the same issue. Not being able to reach a low simmer flame. Its either Full on HIGH or Full on High! I have fixed this issue & it only takes 3 minutes to perform the modification. This mod will work on all Coleman Propane stoves! The Valves are full of Junk Lube and must be cleaned out before first use. I have posted Videos on YouTube, showing the modification and the lowest setting of the smallest flame. I can get a flame that will never boil water, only warm it! Look for UncleFjester on the tube as Coleman wont allow me to post a link

Rated 5 out of 5 by bishbosh from Awesome super quick stove i bought one of these, more than mu usual camp cookind budget, but had read really great reviews, and it was on sale! really seedy heat, a bit difficult to get to low temp, but generally that's not an issue. mine sometimes makes a whilstling / resonance noise when a large pot or grill is placed on the flame and need to temper the flame to suit. been really impressed at the had consumption (used the small butane cylinders a DVD only used 1 over about 4 days canning (brekkiw and dinner). coleman: what world super awesome is a single burner option of this for super light super quick camps

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bruce from Can't cook at low temperature. Bought the Gladiator Hyperflame 12000 but stove 2 years ago and used it 10-12 times. It is terrible. It cooks too hot and the controls will not turn down to a low temperature, like a simmer. Coleman said that's just the way it is with a needle valve. I'm going to donate it to goodwill and get a different stove.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ishy from Issue after first use Great cooker for heating up a crab pot. However after using the left burner the right one would not start using the Piezo ignition. The wire that goes to the right burner is against the steel base tray so the insulation melted and the wire shorts out. Perhaps a design issue. Yes this was the first use and I could not be stuffed taking it back to BCF.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Happycamper from Really potent stove Pros: 1/More than enough power to boil water fast 2/Good look 3/Big enough for 2 big pans 4/Overall quality is good 5/Flame is very stable Cons: 1/a bit hard to control on the low setting 2/igniter is a bit scary to use, i use a lighter instead. Takes up to 3 push to start - by that time propane burst into flame... 3/When you stop it, it makes a rather loud pop when the flame goes out. 4/I would have like a flexible propane connector instead of the hard brass one included. The stove is rather large and having the propane bottle dangling on its side is not that practical. 5/A bit expensive for what it is. Read some reviews about loose latches, mine is tight. The worst thing is the igniter which i find annoying to use, but overall, when i cook on this stove, it is pretty much like cooking at home. I use the stove so far more than 4 weeks in a row as we are renovating the kitchen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PhilC from Excellent but one major flaw Plastic knobs a major flaw, they strip very easily. On my first camping trip with new stove, the plastic teeth which grip the spindle stripped and I was left with one burner. Very frustrating as otherwise excellent product compromised by cheap fittings.
