HORRIBLE assembly instructions
Just purchased this for my patio and was looking forward to using it. I've started and stopped assembling 3 times already in the last 2 days. Could you possibly make the instructions any worse? Diagrams are extremely unclear and small. I'm about to toss it out to the recycling bin and get something else.

Now I do not personally have this but my friend did at a party recently ! She brought it in her trunk!
It was awesome! It made burgers and hotdogs perfectly! I couldn’t find a picture from that day but I would love to get one of these grills myself! Perfect for tailgating, bbq, park, really anywhere !

Good Quality Portable Grill!
I really enjoyed using the features that come with this portable propane grill. I am always a fan of any outdoor gear that is sturdy, easy to carry/assemble/transport, and hassle-free, and this Coleman grill is just that! The features on this modern and stylish grill include matchless lighting and a quickstart ignition button, which saves the need for coal or wood. The inside of the grill is spacious and enough to grill for the entire family in just one rounds. I tried many different proteins, including burgers, hot dogs, rack of ribs, fish, kebabs, and an assortment of veggies, and each of them turned out great and flavorful. The burners can be controlled independently, ensuring a consistent and homogenous heat throughout your grilling experience. It's very powerful for the size that it comes in. I like the modular aspect of this grill, as you can easily replace any of the parts and can quickly dissemble the grill, if needed. I wuld recommend this grill for any grilling enthusiast.

I think grill will work. Would have liked to see more stronger hinges, this is a noticable weak point. Locking is poor for transport, I will need to be extra careful. I believe 3 burners puts grill in par with Weber, but believe making a few minor changes on quality could move coleman to #1 position.

I've had this grill about a year and have used it consistently for camping. It cooks well, even got the griddle top for bacon, etc. My wife suggested getting a new grill for the back patio and I told her I just wanted to get a conversion hose to attach this one to a larger tank. Love this thing!

Love it
When I got this girl I was not expecting it to be so sturdy and built perfect for camping. I took it out of the box put it together and used it and this thing is amazing. It cook the food to perfection and so delicious it’s nothing like then flimsy grills on the market this one is built to last.

Coleman Roadtrip grease trap
The grease trap is a crazy mess, I've owned several grills but never one where you have to add water in the bottom of the grill. Cleaning up after using it a few times is nothing I want to do again, this is a very bad design and should be recalled. If anyone wants one, I'm selling mine.

She’s a beauty!
This is so well made, beautiful and constructed with care and understanding of camping! The wheels make it so easy to port it around! The fact it can fold into itself for easy storage. I absolutely love it! My husband loves it. It’s perfect for us and our love for camping and grilling!

Easy and convenient to use
My husband loves this grill. We can take it to the beach, camping, or just at home. It is easy to move around on the wheels but yet still sturdy. It cooks our steaks evenly without burning or charring them. It’s a nice aesthetic look. So many of our friends have purchased the same one.

The Coleman. Roadtrip 285 portable stand ip propane grill offers usability. I think it is a great little grill for camping or a tail gate party. Small enough to travel with and offers multiple features and upgrades you can add in alter easy setup and the grill gets heated up quickly!

Handle Broke, low is too hot.
The low setting on this is way too hot. It chars anything you cook way before the inside can be cooked. So stuff like brats that take longer to cook than a burger get burnt.
Also, the handle broke pretty easy so we cant even use it on the stand. We have to set it on a table.

The product is very compact and folds up to fit in a small space. The grill lit up on the first try. The grill comes with two high quality cast iron grill grates and griddle attachments that can be purchased separately. This grill is going to be perfect for my outdoor adventures.

This grill is so handy and useful. Its great to have when your family wants to spend a day at the park. It helps you save money from getting fast food. The grill warms up quickly and it was easily assembled. This grill is definitely needed if you like to travel and cookout.

Money wasted on what used to be a quality company
The grill worked great for the first 2 uses, then it won't heat up. Flames burn blue just very low. I expected better from Coleman. Very poor quality. I cannot recommend this product, especially for the price. I have had cheap Char-Broil grills that were better than this one.

After receiving a xcursion grill wheels and screws for side table were missing ...customer service sent me the 285 as a replacement all parts were there customer service quickly remedied the problem I had now just waiting for the propane adapter to start chilling and grilling

Great for on the pontoon boat!
We tailgate with this a Brewers Games, take it on our pontoon boat for great weekend cookouts. I love the different grill, griddle and pot grates. Our friends love when we do brunch on the pontoon, no one in our boating group can make eggs, bacon and pancakes on their grills.

Poor quality
Received this as a gift. Pieces did not fit; pieces broke during assembly; legs did not function; plates supposedly welded to the frame detached. We threw it away.
Don’t buy this. If you’re gifted it, save yourself the effort and place the box directly in the dumpster.

Great little grill!!
Easy to put together and doesn’t take up a lot of space. So far we’ve only used it at the house but let me tell you we will be taking it in several camping trips when the weather gets warmer. I love that it’s easy to fold up and load in the back of the truck.

It’s okay but not convenient to clean
I had high hopes for this grill. I like the portability and the brand in general. But it is very hard to clean and maintain. Burgers and chicken just cooked average but you do have to watch for flare ups or your meat will burn right up. It just wasn’t for me.

Used mainly for our day trips to the springs but has the versatility to expand well beyond. Easy to assemble and use. Love the idea of the water tray for catching the odds and ends. Looking into purchasing the griddle options for some hotcakes and sausages.

Coleman quality has gone out the window. My grill is barely out of warranty, but there are NO replacement parts available. It is now a $300 paperweight. I had a previous model of this grill that lasted over 10 years. Won't buy Coleman for my next grill.

Easy to store and solid.
I bought on a whim and have been very happy with it. I Work away from home and stay in my Rv. I pull it out as often as I can and cook for the Neighbours in my camp grounds. They are very impressed with is and several of them have bought themselves one.

Fantastic portable grill!
I'm all set for my next road trip, tailgating, camping trip thanks to Influenster and Colman for giving me this opportunity to review this incredible Coleman Road Trip Grill for my honest review. This grill was easy to assemble and Included a tool to put the grill together. I love the pull out sides that make tables. The grill plates are easy to remove for a quick clean. You do have to buy a portable propane tank. The grill was easy to start with a one push button. I love that it includes a temperature thermometer to make sure that your food is cooking at the right temperature. There's different settings of heat which is very convenient. You can fold this amazing Grill and transport it almost like a rolling suitcase. The food cooks evenly and was delicious. I didn't have a portable propane grill so I'm delighted to have this and I highly recommend it. I also plan on going over to my relatives house that don't have a grill so I can cook for them this summer, because it's so easy to transport. I love the green color and so do my kids.

Amazing!
Works better than electric grill! It’s more powerful and heats way quicker. Love the green color, easy to clean. Love that it already has the stand, it is a little heavy but considering its size it’s perfect for outdoor party or camping time. Love it!
