Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. While lining the water pan with aluminum foil instead of putting water in it might make cleanup easier, it is important to ensure that the grill functions as intended. The water in the pan helps manage grease and prevent flare-ups. Using foil alone might not provide the same level of safety and effectiveness. As for rusting issues, keeping the pan dry and clean can help reduce rust, and using a cover when not in use, can also help prevent rust. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out. Have a great day ahead! Coleman Consumer care.

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. You have the option to use a propane refill adapter designed for 1lb tanks, enabling you to refill your small green 1lb propane tank using fuel from standard 20lb propane tanks. If you only have the hose, you will require the adapter. However, if your hose includes an adapter, you can indeed use it. Previously, we had a 5ft hose as an adapter (it connects the 20lb cylinder to our product) 5-ft (1.52-m) High-Pressure Propane Hose & Adapter: Model 2000014877. Unfortunately, this product is currently unavailable. You may wish to check its availability on our retailer's website like Amazon. If you have any more questions, please reach out to us via our official Coleman "Contact Us" website https://www.coleman.com/supportShow?cfid=contact-us. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9 am -5 pm Eastern Time. Thank you and please stay safe! Coleman Consumer Care

Dear Consumer, It sounds like you're still having trouble connecting your RoadTrip X-Cursion 2 Burner Propane Gas Portable Grill to a 20lb propane tank using an adapter hose. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try: 1- Check the Adapter Hose Connection: Make sure the adapter hose is properly and securely connected to both the grill and the 20lb propane tank. The connection should be tight to ensure no gas is leaking and the gas flow is unobstructed. 2- Inspect the Adapter Hose for Leaks: Use soapy water to check for leaks. Apply the soapy water to the connections and look for bubbles. If you see any bubbles forming, it indicates a leak. Tighten the connections or replace the adapter hose if necessary. 3- Purge the Air from the Hose: Sometimes, air can get trapped in the hose, preventing the gas from reaching the burners. To purge the air, turn on the propane tank and then slightly open the grill's valve for a few seconds to let the air escape before lighting the grill. 4- Ensure Proper Valve Operation: Make sure the valves on both the propane tank and the grill are fully open. Sometimes, the safety mechanisms in the valves can prevent proper gas flow if they are not fully opened. 5- Check the Regulator: The grill's built-in regulator might not be compatible with the high pressure from the 20lb tank through the adapter hose. Some grills require a specific type of regulator when using larger propane tanks. Verify if your grill needs a high-pressure or low-pressure regulator and ensure you have the correct one. If none of these steps resolve the issue, there might be a problem with the adapter hose or the grill's gas flow system. In that case, we strongly encourage you to reach out to us directly via our official page "Contact Us". Have a nice day! Coleman Consumer Care.
