Description
Rule the campground, park, or the parking lot when you fire up your Coleman® RoadTrip® X-cursion™ Propane Grill. This portable grill with collapsible steel scissor legs and a low-profile design make moving it around as easy as flipping a burger, while the rugged, off-road wheels handle almost any terrain. Once you're at your grill site, 285 sq. in. of porcelain-coated, cast iron grills are waiting for anything you can throw at them. Just hit the Instastart™ push-button ignition and dial in your heat with the two independently adjustable burners. Turn up the heat with 20,000 BTUs of grilling power that delivers it consistently across the grill surface thanks to the Even-Temp™ burners. If you're looking for more meal options, the Swaptop™ interchangeable cooktops let you change out one of the grill grates with a griddle or stove grate (both sold separately). When it's time to head home, the DripTrap™ removable water pan catches all the grease for easy cleaning before you go. Fold this grill up and it will store out of the way until you head out to your next summer cookout.
  • Compact and portable for camping, tailgating, cookouts, and beach parties
  • Independent, adjustable double burners deliver 20,000 BTUs of grilling power
  • Swaptop™ interchangeable cooktops for more meal options (griddle, full-size griddle, and stove grates sold separately)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from AWESOME Grill with one MAJOR Caveat! I love this grill. Its portable and does a great job. I use it at home, I take it to work, friends houses, on my boat, etc. I use the small tanks as well as the larger tanks with the adapter hose. I thought I found the perfect grill for me, until the "water tray" rusted out. You can not get replacements and the grates do not fit without it. I called Coleman and since it was under warranty (happened in under a year), they did send me a whole new grill.. but how long before theses water trays rust out? The old one still works great, I just cant use it due to the rusted out trays. I would give this grill a 12 out of 10 if I could just buy replacement trays for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super all round compact grill We have owned this grill for over a year and truly enjoy it. We can't have a full size grill where we live so it's perfect for home as well as camping. We purchased the half griddle and 2 burners. We can cook anything on this unit. Yes, it cooks hotter than other grills, but like any grill or oven, once you're used to it...perfect food every time. We keep the drip pans and grill surfaces clean for better more even cooking and few grease flare ups. We spray with 409, let the grill tops and drip trays sit, then use a thin scrubbing pad and hot soapy water to clean. They all still look great after a year of using the grill weekly. Very happy to wake up and fire up the grill on a chilly morning, perking coffee on half and flipping flapjacks on the other half.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we need We wanted a grill for our travel trailer that could fit inside the front staorage hatch, but with a somewhat large grill surface and integrated legs. This grill meets our needs. It has a low profile lid, fairly narrow, and the legs fold onto itself. On our first trip using the grill, we cooked burgers, dogs, chicken tenders, and steaks over a five day period. With the grill surface design, I needed to move all the meat more often than I would on my home grill. We were not disappointed with the cooking process. On the negative side, the grill is not light weight. I can pick up the grill without trouble to put it away, but there is no way my wife could do the same. 2nd, the grill surface is half grate and half solid, which could lead to uneven cooking if you don’t keep an eye on the food. Bottom line, we like the grill, have no regrets, and would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Little Grill! I am loving my new Coleman Roadtrip Grill! This little thing is awesome! Setup was a piece of cake and you can fold it up for storage in seconds. There's even wheels and a handle to roll it around once folded up. The propane canister screws on easily for fuel and it lit up each side on the first try. I will say that the cast iron cook tops add a decent amount of weight to the unit, but other than that, it is pretty light. Cooking temps seemed pretty consistent and my food always comes out great. I cannot wait to take this thing camping this Spring. It's going to be a game changer. I highly recommend this grill for hunting and camping. It's probably even perfect for anyone with limited space like an apartment or townhouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loveing it This Coleman's X-CURSION GRILL BLUE C001 is perfect for outings. We tend to hit the beach once the weather improves. I'm always hesitant using the grills that are at the beaches, or park since many times they are not cleaned after previous people using it. I love the fact that all the tools are included and a well put together instruction booklet. The way this grill is set up is very similar to an ironing board. Same process to open and close. While this is small it still will cook more at once than the ordinary portable grills which we use to use. I highly recommend this grill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CANNOT FIND REPLACEMENT GREASE INSERTS I have the Coleman Excursion. It works for what I need it to do. The grease catching inserts have started to burn away and I am unable to keep them clean any more. I have contacted Coleman but they said this part is not replaceable. I highly doubt this isn't replaceable which is why i'm posting here in hopes of someone seeing this and helping me replace the grease catchers. If I am unable to buy new grease catchers then I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT BUYING THIS BARBECUE otherwise you will have to buy a new one every time the trap falls apart or becomes to dirty.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Factory Dent and Paint Missing I purchased this product new in the box. I just opened the box and found a half dollar sized dent in the top lid. The dent was present when the lid was painted. The verticals vents had big pieces of paint missing as well. The grill had not even been used yet. I am disappointed because i paid full price for what I thought was a quality product. I would like a new lid (blue) or a gift card or something from Coleman. I have always loved their products, but this grill is making me think twice about recommending anything at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No replacement parts The drip pans will go bad in about a year of moderate use and you cannot get a new drip pan for it. Once the drip pans go bad the grille plates will no longer set on the grille to cook anything making the whole grille worthless
