Portable grill
The connection for propane is fiddly and easy to cross strip the threads. The lid could be higher up allowing the lid to be closed while cooking some foods. Not sure of the drip pan durability due to the metal being spit thin. Hope it can be replaced easily.
Overall it cooks fine and accept you have a portable , compact grill.

Space saver
Really liked this grill because it’s easy to use and heats fast. One if the best features is that it doesn’t takes up too much space and you can take almost anywhere with you. The buttons are big and easy to ready, it also has wheels which makes it easy to move it around. I highly recommend this grill you won’t be disappointed.

Great Grill
We use this for camping, and I love it! Easily held 8 burgers with room for more. An 11" griddle fit perfectly and made fantastic pancakes and fresh toast. Fried bacon right on the grills. Not much you can't cook on this thing. Lightweight, easy to load, set up and move. It's perfect for camping, tailgating, or day trips.

Love the product! Use griddles for steaks, hotdogs, burgers. Bought flat tops for cooking eggs, bacon, etc. Gas is simple to hook up, can use several times without needing to change it. Grill cleans easy and wiping it off with waer. Folds for easy storage. Wheels are convenient for movement. Would recommend the product.

Tailgate Central
We purchased this barbecue for tailgating at football games when my daughter went to college. It has worked flawlessly thus far (3 months). Have used to cook chicken cutlets, kielbasa, warm up chili and when using the griddle making breakfast burritos. All the kids love coming to the tailgates. It has been terrific!

LOVE THE UPGRADES!
Love some of the upgrades from our Original Coleman received in 2005 from the Price Is Right! Wish it had an additional table on both sides, like the one we currently have but again, love the fact that the propane tank has been moved underneath the unit and the beefed up legs and wheels making it much more durable.

We have this grill and boy how has it helped out camping trips become less complicated. we can prepare almost any meal that we want. people are always complimenting out dishes now. Its a good size grill that can be taken almost anywhere. Plus the easiness of folding it, makes it easy to transport in our car.

Our Camping Range and Oven
I wore out out first RoadTrip grill, and love our new one even more. We camp often, and the Coleman Grill is our main cooking device. I have the flat grills for breakfast, and the regular grill for other meals, and it gets a real workout...it never fails me, and I get lots of compliments about my cooking.

A camping must!
This grill is a camping must have! It is so easy to use and completely changed our camping experience. The compact nature and versatility of this grill is the best. We also purchased the flat top plates which makes breakfast for camping much simpler. The color is vibrant and exactly what I was looking for.

Not up to my expectations
I’ve had this type of grill for years and needed to replace it. My new one isn’t made the same and the grill cover lid does not close all the way when the grill plates are in. So when I cook my food, I can’t close the cover fully. I believe this is either a design flaw or I have a defective unit.

Great for a few weeks
I have only had it for a few weeks and done 3 cooks of a few burgers. The right side burner only lights half way around and not in the center. I shut it down and tried wiping it off but it did the same when I re-lit it. Don't understand why it won't light unless something inside is stopping the gas.

Nice little brother
Well built and a reasonable size for a small family. I like the lighter weight versus the Roadtrip 285 but miss the sliding side tables and thermometer. It's plenty of grill for my wife and I.
I added a Coleman thermometer myself - cost me $12 and now I've got the same functionality as the 285.

Works great , love it!
After 20 plus years of camping , I finally stepped up and got a nice portable grill. A shame that I wasted all of those yeas but no crying over spilled milk. You can get a cheap grill and save money but this thing is reasonably priced, works great and is easy to move. I score it a 9.5 out of 10!

I am in love with the Road trip X-Cursion Grill by Coleman! It is amazing quality, very durable, and so easy to use. It's perfect for on the on the go grilling and quick set up. I love that it doesn't take up a bunch of room, easy to clean, and starts up so fast. I would definitely recommend!

Would have been better if both sides worked
The right side of the grill did not light. It was ok we used that side for indirect heat. Also had a hard time locking the lid shut when we were done grilling and putting the grill back in the car. I was disappointed. We bought the grill for tailgating at my sons family weekend football game.

Lid does not close and lock down for transporting
Lid does not close all the way so you cannot lock it down for travel. Bought straps to lock it down. If I had known this I would have not bought it. I Should have read other people reviews saying the same thing. Coleman has the typical reply on the reviews sorry to hear about your issues.

Perfect grill mark
This grill is very versatile and easy to use once you put it together, it has very good temperature control and I'm surprised by the low pellet consumption,this grill is built well and is not heavy and bulky like other grills.Iy allows you to cook different meats at different settings.

Always lights but drip pans will go bad quickly
Loved this grill for the first year I had it. Unfortunately even with regular upkeep the drip pans in it have rotted out and gone very bad. What's even worse is that they are not a part that you can purchase as a replacement. Always loved Coleman products but this one let me down a bit.

Great Grill - the is our 2nd one!
The Coleman tailgate grill is a great tool for taking on the road for tailgating, camping, or to a friend's house to an extra cookout grill. I had my first one for 25 years until the plastic base finally broke. This new one has a different designed base and will hopefully last longer.

Don't waste your money!
Huge disappointment, grill was used twice and the handle on one side and the side tray on the other melted. Contacted Coleman and was directed to fill out a warranty claim form and that we would be contacted by customer service within 48 hours. It’s been a business week and nothing.

Usually we use common grill in a park but now decided to get ours. We were closing between value price, convenient to use item and easy to storage - and our choice is Roadtrip cuesion grill. And also this grill is very easy to clean. First time we used it for family BBQ and like it.

Perfect for Travel!
I was very surprised at how much I like this grill! It was easy to get it going. Having wheels makes it easy to move around depending on where you are going. The collapsing feature allows you to put this in the back of a truck or even the back of a smaller car. Loved the design.

Durable grill
Typically the problem with portable grills like this is after awhile they fall apart. But this one stays together even accidentally falling out of my suv. It cooks food very evenly and I love how you can get the accessories to switch out the cook top of your preference.

Cannot get a replacement drip pan for the grill. I bought my wife the coleman road trip x-cursion, and the drip tray is absolute crap. We use it a light to moderate amount. I would not recommend buying this grill especially being as they don't offer replacement parts.

Best portable grill I've ever owned
This grill is my camping workhorse. The interchangeable grill surfaces make it easy to cook anything from chili to delicious steak. My Roadtrip is about 10 years old and is still in great condition. I leave it in the garage when it is not on a camping trip.

this is a great grill! it cooks well, easy to pack around, the only negative I have is important to the wife, when stored upright on its wheels, it leaks all the icky drippy stuff into the carrying handle slots... ewww.. other than that its a great grill

Absolutely worth it.
It’s rare I find an item I’m absolutely satisfied with, but this little grill does the trick. It’s light and collapsible, but sturdy and well made. I bought it for my truck camper and have used it for a multitude of other events too. I highly recommend.
