Portable, but.....
I use this grill all the time at the beach and on the boat. It’s nice and portable with plenty of cooking surface. My only issues are cheap wheels, ( one broke off) and the burner settings range from burn to burn fast. So keep an eye on those burgers.

Great Compact Grill!

Very durable
I use this for camping, it folds up to fit in my pop up tent trailer. For some reason I have a problem opening it up, but my 5 year old niece can do it without a problem! I love the feature of putting water in the tray so it is easy to clean.

EZ Traveler for a small vehicle...!
When traveling, space comes at a premium. Every added " extra " non-essential item generally gets ejected. For brief camping, fishing or ball game tailgating opportunities, I pack the " X-cursion " grill to meet our needs and expectations.

Expensive and crap
It worked good when we were cooking but when we put it away it started to disassemble meaning screws loosened fell out handles fell off I cut my finger on an edge waste of money and I won’t be using it again I do not recommend this item

Design not up to Coleman standards
Grate & lid design make lid latch difficult to get low enough to connect, have to really press lid down after adjusting the grates to proper location.
Side tray screws pulled out second time i tried lift from closed transport status.

The lid is hard to close...
Just bought and put it together and the lid was so hard to shut I'm scared it's going to pull up the grates when hot.. is this normal for the lid to so hard to shut? Giving a 3 star due to issue of the lid and I haven't used it yet..

Great price and durability
I have 2 of the x=cursion and 1 of the Sportster models. All 3 of these grills are used very heavily on our camping trips. Having actual travel grills have really spiced up my camping game. I would recommend these grills to anyone!

Great grill for camping! I love how it folds up and can fit in my car trunk or can bring it on the boat with us. Very easy to use and with the wheels very easy to move around. Also like the side table to set spatula or fork on.

Directions could offer more detail on the water/drip pan. There was no direct information on its purpose and location. When we unpacked the grill it was dented. Like the overall appearance of the unit and the way it closes up.

Perfect to use daily or for wend get aways!!
This grill calls for water to be in the base!
But i found it works great w/out water also.
And if u put Tinfoil down on the grates it will still line yur meat etc.. with cooking lines! And making clean up alot easier!

Love it!
What a great grill. Love that I do many types of cooking on this by changing the grill plates. I can BBQ, cook bacon, eggs, pancakes, grill veggies, make coffee, boil water, etc. Clean up is easy. Easy to transport.

Grill grate broke after first use
We used the grill 2 days and one of the grates broke. This grill should be better made for the money. Also the drip pans are poorly made; one cut my finger open and also the thin metal edge rusted after rinsing them.

The "take it everywhere grill" !!

Hard to clean otherwise great
The size is nice. But the cleanup is kind of difficult. There's a grease tray all the way around the inside of it which makes it hard to clean. If Coleman could come up with a better grease tray it would be perfect.

1. Assembly was challenging. Design could be more user friendly.
2. It did not come with a drip pan. I had to call to request. They said it was delivered but I never received it.
