Perhaps mine was missing the rubberized bottom? If so it would be wonderful if Coleman could reach out to rectify the problem. As it stands I don&#39;t have a lot of confidence in the plastic base housing the batteries holding up to any impact whatsoever. It is a shame as it is a really lovely lantern otherwise.
