Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coleman sky dome XL 8P tent with LED Lights Longtime Coleman lover; friends all joke Coleman should contact me to test out their gear because I always bring: my Coleman trailhead II cot, cooler, pop up, air mattress, air mattress pump, two burner stove, with a couple of Coleman chairs and a couple of Coleman sleeping bags. So needless to say I was excited to test this tent out, being that I was now camping for two, rather than just solo. This tent spaciously fit my queen size Coleman mattress and trailhead II cot in the corner (used the cot as a bench or storage space on the far right and mattress in far left of tent.) The mattress was perfect for me and my girlfriend with the awesome built in LED light. Super romantic. Each light pack takes three AA batteries and I love that with my air mattress pushed up to the left, I could easily lean up and turn of the light switches, given the placement of the battery pack pouch holders for the lights. The tent was spacious and accommodating. So many mesh pockets for storage and organization. Hanging mesh net pouch at zenith or inside tent is not good for heavier items as they tend to fall out. The Set up took three tries to master. Always recommend doing a test set up at home before going camping. I will say: deconstructing the tent was a learning curve, being that the online community and in-bag instructions don’t really have much data on how to breakdown the tent. I did have an awesome lightbulb moment while breaking the tent down for the 3rd time while leaving the site: The tent poles are built into the fabric of the tent, when deconstructing the tent, I noticed these red Velcro straps perfectly lined up with each set of black and grey poles on each side of tent. Make sure to neatly fold your tent poles and then use bright red Velcro straps to secure them before rolling up your tent. I found that keeping the rain fly inside the tent and then deconstructing/rolling it up was most efficient. This here is a solid family tent for your hot summer nights or even your colder ones. I took it to the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas and it was just fine in 30 degree nights weather. Just make sure to bring your appropriate Coleman sleeping bags for whatever weather you are going to experience. I give this tent 4/5 stars. I feel it should deserve 4.5/5 but it’s not an option. The .5 reduction is solely for the lack of deconstruction advice online and built into the bag. The instructions inside were unfortunately not the clearest and seemed vague for deconstruction. Awesome product and awesome brand. I ain’t goin nowhere without my Coleman gear. Signed: - a lifelong friend and customer. I’ll see y’all out at the campsites and trails!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely stunning My family and I used this to go camping for the weekend and boy was it amazing!!! I love the sky dome and how big it is so you can look up and see the star at night. My family of 5 got perfect in this tent and it was very easy to put together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable easy to assemble This Coleman skydome tent is exactly what my family and I was looking for we love to go camping it was time foreign upgrade not only is it big enough for eight people but it is very roomy and spacious I love how it lights up & how easy it is to set up it is great for camping it's going to be wonderful for tailgating this fall literally the best tent I've had well made durable and it is easy to store

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked in the Rain! Nice Tent! My family of 4 used this for a weekend and wound up in a torrential rain storm! This tent stayed dry for the bulk of it, about 10 hrs into severe rains we did start to have some small leaks, particularly where the air mattress was pushed up against the side. Considering the amount of rain though I was impressed we made it through the night!
