Rated 5 out of 5 by from compact and effective This is an excellent grill for camping. It is small enough to be portable but large enough for cooking a lot of food at once. It heats up fast and the heat is easy to control. There are two separate burners. The inside grate is in two pieces and we got the pan accessory so we can be grilling on one side and heating stuff in a pan on the other side. The drip pan is great. You just put water in it and any grease drips right in the water making it so easy to clean up. The regulator is easy to attach and simple so it would be really hard to strip it accidentally. Overall, the best grill we have had and we've been camping for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously a Latch and a Carry Case I have read the other reviews and I can't believe they would rate this grill 4 stars instead of 5 because of a lid latch or carry bag. How long have you people camped and how do you travel that a lid latch would make a different, are you 4 wheeling, come-on now. Great grill, works perfectly, perfect size, travels well (even without a latch or carry bag) this is camping folks not a eat out at the Ritz. I have been camping for over 55 years and this is one of the best medium size grills I have run across. Figures it would be made by Coleman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but powerful This product is great for our RV camper. We are happy Coleman is making small grills that are portable. It would be nice to have a latch as another reviewer mentions, but we are not going to give a horrible rating just for that. The performance of the product is fine, which is what matters most.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Tailgate Grill Love my RoadTrip portable Coleman grill! Perfect to put in the back of the car and take it out to Arrowhead Stadium for some quick and easy grilling. Also was a perfect grill when I had an apartment balcony. Couldn't ask for a better, more convenient grill

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for quick steaks... Been looking for a grill for my truck to cook steaks on one day picnic trips. Bought this at REI and couldn't be happier. The cast iron grill surface is a positive difference in this class of grill. Almost no flare ups and the grease trap is excellent. The only thing this grill seems to be missing is a latch. Hence the 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built Well built. Flame looks weak but it cooks fast with lid on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good travel grill for camping I purchased this item after purchasing and returning the Fold N Go grill (which was flimsy and not up to Coleman standards). I have yet to use this grill but have explored all the ins/outs of the unit. I like that there is a removable drip tray which will make clean-up much easier. Like some of the other reviewers, I am a little disappointed there is no latch to hold the lid closed and that Coleman also does not have a travel case for the grill. I attached a propane cylinder and lit the grill to test all the connections, and everything worked just fine. That said, another reviewer purchased several travel cases on Amazon based on the measurements of the grill and settled on one that was the closest / best fit. Here is the link, I hope it works for you. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GY4ZXR8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) I trusted that review and purchased the case as well. The grill fits in the case along with the additional griddle I purchased. There is also room for several propane cylinders, so the case was a good purchase. Another reviewer advised that they made material sleeves for the grill grates so that they did not rattle around and possible scratch the top rim of the drip tray. Great idea, and since I am not good at sewing anything I used some old pillowcases - works just fine. I also put the griddle in a pillowcase before storing it in the travel case. The grill, the grates, and the griddle can be a bit heavy - all stored in the case I have so I plan to remove the grates / griddle prior to lifting it into the vehicle, then putting them inside for travel. I will do the same when removing the case from the vehicle, first taking out the grates / griddle as well as the propane cylinders. Just a few extra steps but it will be easier to move everything. I will be using this grill within a couple weeks, on our first 'truck camping' adventure and expect it will work just fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The lid does NOT fit flush. Can’t store outside I was SO excited for this to arrive. Put the grates in and carried outside, the. Noticed the big gap all around - lid not designed to fit flush with grates in. I bought the table top version with the intent to store out outside on covered patio. How will the gap affect grilling on windy days? Store outside? Nope, without flush lid all kind of bugs can access the inside. Returned to store. (p.s. Surprised not one review mentioned this gap. I never would have ordered it. It’s very noticeable in person).
