Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible customer service, top has no latch Horrible customer service. The worst I have ever had. I will never buy another thing from coleman. But about the grill, there is no Lid Latch, no carry bag or stand built for this and it is heavy. The lidl latch is the dumbest thing I have ever seen that they don't put on a grill. Who engineered this grill? The lid latch is a deal breaker, the customer service is a 110% deal breaker!! Contacted coleman no call back. Horrifying customer service. And after all this, they are trying to make me pay for a late grill coming to my house. And a grill with no lid latch!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Small for my Class B RV First I want to say I love Coleman products and was excited to see they had come up with a grill smaller than the full size Roadtrip. Being in a Class B RV I have limited room and the Roadtrip took up too much of my limited storage space. However, there are two issues that have lead me to rate it as a 2 star. First there is no lid latch. The 225 on the stand does have a lid latch. Second, short of having the latch it would be nice to have a travel case. But I asked about the future availability of a case and was told by customer service one is not being planned in the near future. Really, a small travel grill without a case? So now I have to come up with some way to keep the lid closed while traveling and how to protect the grill when in storage on my RV. Wished Coleman would have thought of these two things when producing this new grill. I would not recoomend this grill until Coleman at least comes out with a carry/protective case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very efficient & durable used it all spring & summer. so easy to use & clean after grilling. took it to the lake several times because the ease of use & transporting. continued to be amazed at how much food I can grill on it at one time. really glad I bought the griddles to use sometimes instead of the grates for different food items.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t buy this grill This grill can barely cook at all in cold weather, and cooks very unevenly in fair weather. It came with sticky stuff on the inside of the hood to hold some paper that had the model of the grill on it. I can’t even manage to scrape all of this sticky stuff off so I just have to cook with it. Would absolutely return if I didn’t have to get it dirty and greasy first to find out how bad it actually is.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Road trip 225 BBQ - I do not recommend Purchased in May 2023. Used approx 30 times, for 1 trip last June/July 2023. Ever did like that it’s hard to ignite as you can’t even see the flame when/ if it starts and the slightest breeze and flames gone! Went camping on Monday July 8, 2024 for 3 days. Could not get it to light at all with the auto striker. Had to go buy one of those fire long lighters. Finally got it going, but had to baby it along and shelter it all around from the slight breeze that was present. Went to Web site to fill out warranty form. Form asks for State / Province and Zip / Postal Code. Well you put this info in and there is nothing shown for Canada at all anywhere it is only states listed!!! Why ask for it if you can’t deliver!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice little grill. I originally got this because my apartment would only allow 1lb propane tanks. Easy to take care of, put tin foil on (or small grill easy cleanup sheets), and very portable. I have taken it to state parks and bbq’d with the kids, just sat it on the picnic table. One downside is the propane tank should be upright, but it’s hard to get the tank to do so unless you adjust it just right in conjunction on whatever surface you are using, the valve setup alone doesn’t hold it properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy for your money and ready for everything. I had an outdoor fundraiser for MS. My wife struggles with this disorder so it was important that it went off without a hitch. Instead of 30 or so people 70 showed up and the grill may have been the only thing that went well that day still at the end of the day the people were fed and happy all because of my Roadtrip grill

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money! Does not cook equally. Only the meat in the center cook faster than anything else on the grill. Tied to add photo but the system wouldn’t let me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Replacement parts not available I have been trying for weeks to find a replacement for the small grate for grilling, including the after market suppliers. If you buy this and the small grate is damaged for any reason, you can't find or buy a replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing beats Coleman for outdoors We use our grill at home, camping, and on a lot of day trips. I've even loaned it to friends and family and they ended up buying their own. Convenience should be the name on this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't find regulator anywhere I didn't find the gas regulator in the box. Looked for it in: Kohls, Ace, Runnings, Walmart.. No one has this part! The website here doesn't have it. The specifications of the product doesn't say which part is needed. I have another Coleman gas stove that uses a different regulator so I am stuck with this huge, heavy grill where I can't use it!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's Red Hot- sometimes too Hot! Looks great but having difficulty in calibrating the temperature. Would be nice if a temperature gauge was installed in the cover. Heats up very well but I don't know how well. I hope experimenting with it will provide a frame of reference over time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected Used it twice now and without any instructions it it almost impossible to use. Burner goes out in slightest wind, can't find where the thermostat controls need to be for highest heat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Refund issue I returned the grill because it was too big. We want to buy a smaller one, but cannot get the refund. I've been waiting for a refund for over a week since it was returned to the facilty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great grill, can’t find parts We have used the outdoor table top grill for over 3 years and have been very happy with it. Recently though our rubber gasket/seal that goes from the propane regulator into the grill (not the other side that attaches to the 16oz tank) finally broke and we’ve been unable to use the grill. Can not find a replacement for that gasket/seal anywhere. Wasn’t wanting to have to buy a new regulator. Does anyone know of where I can get that part? Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RoadTrip 225 Ordered the RoadTrip Full Top Griddle plate to go along with it. Called three different times to make sure it would fit the 225 before ordering ( was assured by all that it was made for the RoadTrip. Didn’t Fit ) however after some grinding and welding a bracket to keep it from sliding it’s perfect with lots of surface area and a grease catcher. Took it camping and used it in various cooking setups Love It

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water? Just bought my table grill gen2 and I’m looking forward to using it on our upcoming vacation. I’m just a little confused about the “add water” part. Why is there a water line on the inside of the bbq? What does adding water to it do? Do I need to add water every time?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lacking basic function of locking lid It works well but is very heavy and there is no lock on the lid which makes transporting it a problem. Also, there is no cover or carry case made for it either. I wish I had kept the box because I would return it for a different model but its too late now. Not too late for you though...save yourself some hassle and get a better model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product 100 I’m very impressed with this portable Coleman Grill !. It’s compact easy to transport and perfect for camping trips ,tailgating,or backyard gatherings. The grill heats up quickly and cooks food evenly, making it simple to prepare delicious meals anywhere. The sturdy construction feels durable and cleanup is surprisingly easy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It’s a piece of garbage! Why is this called a “roadtrip” grill? There’s no way to move it in or out of a car or truck. No case you can purchase to carry it around. Just say it’s a grill to keep on a small table on your apartment patio and hope your neighbors don’t report you. It’s no good for tailgating, the beach, or anywhere you travel to.
Date published: 2024-06-29
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maybe not the best for camping? This grill has pretty good design and construction, however, my first use was on a windy day and the grill flames blew out multiple times. Being that this is a camping grill, ai think that is a pretty big safety concern if someone was relying on this to cook. Other than that, the grill is easy to use and operate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The thing you should know about this grill it’s co This is a great little grill that is lightweight when you’re going camping for the weekend or a quick grill at home . Easy to set up and easy to store. Very well made . Perfect choice to cook on for the entire family on an outing. We enjoy cooking s’mores on this grill, its contestant of the heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice small grill The grill is just the right size when cooking for two. I like the two burners. What’s different is the need for water to use the grill. I didn’t experience any flare ups while cooking, however getting rid of the water is a pain when you’re at a campground since it has grease in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Afforable We bought our grill at a Coleman traveling tent sale for a really good price. We use it when we go traveling in our RV. I love how easy it is to clean and store. I like the drip pan and removable grates for easy clean up. Yes, I would recommend to family and friends.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ignitor Not Working The ignitor has not worked since I purchased the grill (May or June of this year). Figured Coleman would not warranty the grill with the time that has passed. Have tried to find an ignitor wire and replace myself with no success. Maybe Coleman could help me out?
